Serious fatigue with this bullst now. Its just so utterly dominating. I don't recall seeing any governmental policy news on anything else since the vote.
Tell me about it. They've screwed up again, potentially. If there was any chance of a ref 2, i believe a few weeks ago they might have achieved a Remain result but I think they have been so wilfully recalcitrant, people will protest vote, again. I know it's wrong but one of my wife friend (who Marched last week, need I say more!) is a leftie, frothing loon. I want to see her totally lose it, now. Straight jacket and padded room. hehe

Seems about right rofl
It is right, but sadly not funny. She's right royally cocked this up from start to finish. I seriously think the woman is possessed, nobody could willingly make such a long series of stand out mistakes and not listen and take action to remedy the situation.
She's a fking lunatic, and I'm a Tory voter AND a leaver.

Let's hope the Tories install Boris as the next leader, then. That'll have her (and plenty of others) foaming at the mouthsmile.

After all, can he really make the situation worse than it already is, given that the alternative appears to be Corbyn?

And that's the reason we can't have nice things. People like you who are so tribal, you're #1 desire is to see the other tribe suffering.

And with wishful thinking added on top for good measure! It's a brave Leaver who dares to risk a second referendum given the rather obvious trends:

And this is my problem with what Brexit has become, the government is so wrapped-up on this single issue (as important as it may be), that everything else seems to be slowly falling by the wayside...

I'm a staunch remoaner, but right now I'd like a decision of some sorts just so we can move on and get back to running the country...

... Or knowing the current Tory party, more silly squabbling.

I think you will find the vitriolic side is Remain. It is in my peer group. I'm now indifferent as to what 'they' do. Life goes on and the sky won't fall.

I think your comment says more about you than it does about your wife friend or anybody else TBH.

Yup it’s pathetic tribal nonsense. Worrying that so many people apparently think like this.

Sense of humour bypass?

Interesting though that some are quite content to prod the wasps' nest and then complain when wasps sting...

That much is true, and that delightful old cove, Mervyn King, was on R4 this morning saying exactly that.

But when you delight in the conflict instead of being reasonable about a huge issue that divides us almost 50:50, you are sowing seeds of future trouble. This is true of both tribes.

It's not tribal (Brexit) for me. Im tribal with General Elections. How many have truly changed their minds. I was flip flopping up until a couple of weeks ago. Have a listen to the Morgan interview link above. The Remain camp still can't come up with even 1 argument other than say 'if you stop and listen to the experts'. These experts who told us we would be in recession by now. The Remainer went on to say, why not have a second ref, democracy isn't about a result just on a particular day. Yes, yes it is.

There is common sense and decent people on both sides just as there are those who choose to throw insults and vitriol. Neither 'side' are blameless, neither have a monopoly on muppetry

I did make a reasoned choice. My delight is just icing on the cake. The woman is a bh of the highest order. Everyone got their say but to get aggressive and make ad hominem attacks just makes me dig my toes in. Im not Tory scum nor a facist. smile She posts this st on social media constantly and the worst part is likes unsavoury anti semitic 'stuff' from walker etc, then thinks it's ok to pop round for drinks, knowing i'm a Jew and a Tory and a Leaver. It's not a good mix. My wife thinks just ban talking about politics but how can I ignore it.

You clearly made your comment in response another posters Brexit comment and now you try to tell us "It's not tribal (Brexit) for me." To publicly state that "I want to see her totally lose it, now. Straight jacket and padded room." is utterly despicable.

And if you now want to say you were only joking, then maybe you need to explain your joke? As we all know that jokes that need explaining aren't very funny.

Mental health is a serious issue for very many people and to state you would like to see your "wife friend' totally lose it, Straight jacket and padded room" is simply not acceptable.

It's time for you to have a sit and apply a bit of thought to your comments before publicly displaying them.

They were your words.

And now you've gone even more tribal with the "how very Remainer of you" thing.

Bit of a (tribal) generalisation isn't it?

Go on then, explain your hilariously funny, rib cracking joke?
