Didn't TM say she was actually only going to resign when she felt the new leader would have the confidence of the HoC?

Ideally a relaxing break with massages and hot tub should be in order for Tessie

Most of the recent ex-PMs seem to have seen out the remainder of their term as MP and then retired (in her case - MP for Maidenhead) - except Tony Blair, who couldn't wait to get on to his next gravy train so took the Chiltern Hundreds.

So what's next for TM probably depends on Brexit and whether Boris calls a new election.

We're in for a long wait then.

The old saying, beware of what you wish for, is so very true at times.

I intently dislike the woman. She did what she was told and, when left to her own devices, was vindictive. She praised the 'emergency services' at the same time as refusing them money that they were entitled to, and for years. A nasty woman without a redeeming feature that I can see.

She tore into my old profession, destroying many of the innovations that various police forces had put into place since 1984. She lied and lied again about money going to the service. I'm sure there were many employees of the service who, like her, cried when they had to leave their post, after doing their best. Unlike her, it was not just a reduction in pay, but out on your ear.

And now I have my wish. She's off. Her replacement is probably one of the few in the tory party who are, most definitely, worse for the country.

Her saving grace is that she's not quite as bad as Cameron. That, to me, is her epitaph.

She also said that budget X, Y and Z had to be cut as there was a lack of money yet magically finds billions behind the sofa when it comes to creating her “legacy”.

She got 27 countries to agree to a withdrawal agreement that Boris is now going to try and undo but will fail spectacularly at.

Agreeing to anything the EU wants is not an "achievement", no matter how you try and spin it, and after she had done so she was mystified she couldn't get the resulting surrender through parliament.

The Withdrawal Agreement was drafted in Germany by Merkel and Selmayr. They had to translate it into English before Treason May could even read it...

It has also been compared to what a country might sign after they have been defeated in war. A total surrender agreement.

If I write a contract, and you sign it, you didn't get me to agree anything laugh

Anyway, CMD actually managed to negotiate legally binding change to our membership terms. He wins that round IMO biggrin

She got 27 countries to agree to a withdrawal agreement that Boris is now going to try and undo but will fail spectacularly at.was condemned by both Leave & Remain proponents and consequently rejected not once but three times by Parliament

It's fairly easy to get someone to agree with you if you start off by saying "what do you want ? just write it down and I'll push it past those idiots in Parliament".

Unfortunately, she failed to get the agreement of the 1 country that was trying to withdraw.

Which spectacularly negates the other 27, don't you think?

And as the man from the EU said, the WA will make the UK a colony of the EU.

And we could never unilaterally leave.

No because we want things that are impossible apparently.

Actually we never knew what we wanted to start with.
