Any of the 1/4 mile people fancy this?
Discussion
At the core of the event is The Supercar Shootout.
A standing ¼ mile head-to-head timed competition for supercar owners on THE STRIP.

It would be fun to see some of the fast people demolish a few supercars

If you take a Tesla P100D you will beat 95% of the supercars cars there..
1/4 mile is a tiny distance and right in it's killing zone..
The Tesla I saw at the super car event, didn’t really do any of that. Regular supercars after the standing start we’re back up with it in around 100 yards ish. 1/4 mile is a tiny distance and right in it's killing zone..
The other problem is electric cars are driven by milkmen, weirdos and those who are light in the trouser snake department.
And anyway this is the TVR section.. repeat TVR we have petrol running through our veins. Now funk off to the electric car section
Oh you say you’re an electric car consultant. So sad we can get you help and some testosterone therapy.
^^^As you are a Corvette fan you might enjoy this C2 upsetting a few supercars

Health and Safety strikes again.. event cancelled.
Seems strange - needs a rollcage?During an intensive week (commencing Monday 29 January) of examining our position in relation to regulations for straight-line motorsport, we have reluctantly had to make the decision to cancel the Blackbushe event. Most critically, what has come to light is that many of the supercars that we had expected to see running The Strip would be required to have an approved rally standard roll cage. This regulation seemingly applies to vehicles that are capable of 10.5 seconds or better for a standing quarter mile. Therefore many Ferraris, Lamborghinis and McLarens – let alone much faster supercars – would require modifications that would be unacceptable to most supercar participants.
