Basically:
If it’s 122bhp it’s a chain
If it’s 125bhp it’s a belt
The 160bhp twin charge engines are terrible but they were culled before the facelift in late 14/early 15
My twin charge engined scirocco was nice enough but the engine expired at 12000 miles. If it’s 122bhp it’s a chain
If it’s 125bhp it’s a belt
The 160bhp twin charge engines are terrible but they were culled before the facelift in late 14/early 15
New engine needed

I'd stick to the 66-plate one you mentioned at the start of the thread. The extra warranty is well worth having and the newer car will be worth more when you sell it on. Kit doesn't really add much extra value This is the vehicle I'm looking at: https://www.hendycarstore.co.uk/used-cars/volkswag...
