AMV8 concept
Built by DC Design of Mumbai, India, and unveiled at the North American International Auto Show, Detroit in January 2003.
The AMV8 concept was based on a DB7 Vantage Volante with a shortened wheelbase.
Now part of the AMHT collection.

I have not heard, but presumably the last V12 Vantage V600 has now been built.
Therefore, the Vantage (original) era has now ended.
I would like to thank everyone who contributed information, which greatly assisted with the preparation of this table.
The topic which was used to gather all the data, went on for seven pages.

Hopefully most of the information is correct, but I fear there might be some errors.
Below the main table, I have placed a section for photographs of the Limited Edition sill plates. If this is of interest, please post some more photographs, and I will then add them to that section.
Hope some of you will find the table of interest.

One note re. GT8 and GT12, I'd add: they are both a development of "Aston Martin Special Projects and Motorsport" division.
I am not sure whether the V600 was a "Q" development or developed by the aforementioned division too!

I have not heard about a development aspect before, so therefore not sure what the background to that is.
There is a note about Special Vehicle Operations for the V12 V600, simply because the final assembly of that model was not done at Gaydon, but at the Wellesbourne, Warwickshire premises.

+1, thank you for your efforts, Jon!May I say it is a crying shame that AML obviously didn´t care to give the outgoing model a proper send-off celebration at the factory. At least I haven´t heard of any official event or seen any good-bye photograph of the last Vantage AMR with the workforce at Gaydon. Just imagine: There is the most successful model ever built in the 118 year history of the marque going out and what are they doing to officially celebrate this at HQ: Nothing. Just NOTHING!

Our cars are very special to each of us, but the Special Editions are only specifically named models.
The Vantage V12S Coupe and Roadster were so called 'core' models, whereas their predecessors V12 Vantage Coupe and V12 Vantage Roadster, were Limited Edition models. At their launch, it was stated that only 1000 Coupes would be produced and subsequently only 101 Roadsters (although only the Roadster had individual numbering identification).
I don't know, but possibly in the end there might have been fewer S models produced, than non S.

With development I meant that these particular models were subject of ad-hoc testing. For instance, in the case of the GT8, two prototype vehicles were seen multiple times testing around the Nurburgring, (see links below) etc.

I have just done a video search, and saw a camouflaged DB9 or DBS being tested there six years ago. That car was eventually revealed as the DB9.2. There are many films including the core models Vanquish, new Vantage, DB11 and DBSS.
My idea with the Table 'Notes' column, was to keep the comments to the very minimum. It would be good to have more information, but the concept was just to provide a very condensed summary about each model.

My suggestion was to improve your list even more to highlight the core differences between GT# models compared to "regular" ones/AMRs in your list. From your list, one could imply that both are limited-runs.
In reality, these models are very different from each others, in the look (body-work and extensive use of CF), the dynamics/performance (lighter, with different suspension components and geometry) and in the sound department and they represent the, exquisite, Vantage-era at its best!

Yes, it is widely known that the GT8 and GT12 are amongst the pinnacle of the Vantage family.
My table attempts only to be a simple summary list of all the Limited Edition and Special Edition models.
Have purposely kept it as simple as possible by restricting the information to date announced, model name, type of edition and numbers produced.
That should make it easier to refer to, because there is not too much to read. It did become complicated enough (all the Carbon Blacks turned out to be a mighty conundrum and involved double counting at one stage), so incorporating specification details of individual models was purposely never part of the plan.
Anyway, I expect an internet search on any of the models listed, should quickly reveal full specifications, and might possibly lead to Tim Cottingham's very detailed website - https://astonmartins.com/car-category/vh-current-p...

Late to the party here as usual, but perhaps I can elicit a knowledgeable response from somebody as to my car, which is a 2018 V12 Vantage S RHD Manual Roadster. Yes it is a bit of a gobfull. I love this car, and I know the numbers will be low, but the reference in the OP above states USA only for the V12S Roadster. Can someone shed any light on the RHD, or UK numbers, as I do not see this anywhere at any time.

In the USA the model was limited to 100, but here in the UK there was not a limit, so was therefore a 'core' model. Even so, the number produced would not have been huge, because there was only a couple of years before the new Vantage was launched.
If you want to know the numbers, my only suggestion is to contact Gaydon. Someone on this forum recently, said they had been given some past model production figures.
