Absolutely shocking and embarrassing for this country. Why did we give in to Bangladesh and let them fob her over to us?
Because she was and is a British citizen. Born here, grew up here, and was never a Bangladesh citizen. Why should she go to Bangladesh?I can’t believe people think we should make people stateless just because it is someone who they dislike.

This isn't about dislike. It's about a girl who made the decision to join a terrorist regime and benefited from people getting murdered on a daily basis and took joy in seeing UK soldiers being killed. Now that IS is unsuccessful she wants to run back to the country which she vowed hatred against and wished death on its citizens.

What is great about this is that I can't wait for the huge level of gammon rage that I'll see on Facebook shortly about it.
The reality is that she will pose absolutely zero threat and nothing will happen. There are probably 10 far more dangerous and active extremists to every one Shamima Begum in the UK, but of course that doesn't really resonate with the middle aged white men who will shortly be sharing various Britain Furst and Leave.eu (which now apparently has become some kind of extension of the EDL page) posts about Muslamic X-Tremeists and Immugrents on Speedboats.
she likely wont pose any threat. The reality is that she will pose absolutely zero threat and nothing will happen. There are probably 10 far more dangerous and active extremists to every one Shamima Begum in the UK, but of course that doesn't really resonate with the middle aged white men who will shortly be sharing various Britain Furst and Leave.eu (which now apparently has become some kind of extension of the EDL page) posts about Muslamic X-Tremeists and Immugrents on Speedboats.
but why should she be allowed back, at tax payers expense (i guess), to be then kept in jail (you assume for life) at tax payers expense. absolute waste of money, and we are good at that.
she made herself an enemy of the state for want of a better phrase, yet we have to let her back. why cant she rot over there having made her bed, but now the state will have to support here, or is there no obligation to?

I'm not sure anyone thinks that. I do think people should be stripped of British citizenship if they go abroad to join an organisation dedicated to the destruction of Britain, and the mass murder of British citizens.Dont Panic said:

Another thick fat racist rises from the mire to spout his bks.The reality is that she will pose absolutely zero threat and nothing will happen. Her father is from Bangladesh and she could have claimed citizenship from there.

Pretty much agree. This isn't about dislike. But surely what seperates good from bad is the following of international law?
I don't want her here, but I think following the law is the important point.

I hope you're right. I'm sure that was also said about the Manchester bomber, Sudesh Amman (Streatham attacks) and the London Bridge attacker, they were all reformed and great characters. And all of that assumes she isn't actually the victim in all this....

Yeah....but no one had heard of them had they? I can't honestly see the appeal for her moving back here as I'm sure she'll end up becoming the target of plenty of right wing idiots, and even going out to the shops will be almost impossible for her.
And all of that assumes she isn't actually the victim in all this....
That comes back to (usual right wing stance) having a trial before deciding the outcome via the media? And all of that assumes she isn't actually the victim in all this....

I agree, she had to be sent back home to be dealt with appropriately and that home happens to be the U.K.
She’s a British problem that the syrians rightly don’t want anything to do with
So when she lands and gets her citizenship back are we going to prosecute her for acts of terrorism or set her up with a free home, some benefits and let her continue with life as normal? She’s a British problem that the syrians rightly don’t want anything to do with

My original point was that there won't realistically be any impact on any of our lives as a result of this judgement. The perception of course will be that she's a threat and there will be thousands of shares of various 'send her back' and 'this scumbag etc etc' and 'she should be left to rot in Syria' across many middle aged Gammon supported Facebook pages.
This won't of course stop many many more pages of discussion on it here, and having seen the headlines I thought 'bet there's a multi page thread on PH about it that will now have gone wild again'. And low and behold. There was!
