Mass shooting in NZ mosque

A few posters have said they were sent a link to the video. I cannot understand the mentality of people who would send it. "I've just watched a video of a massacre of innocent people; I know, I'll send it to my mate..."
I actually had a go at the two people who sent it to me. Send me a link to the news item if you want me to be aware of it but why help to spread this sickos video. What on earth would make them think I'd want to watch something like that? Have people become so inured to violence that they can watch this without feeling sick or think other people would want to see it?I despair for humanity sometimes.
Had some interesting discussion about this with lefty friends on facebook.
One of them mentioned that the guy was a sick whatever, so I let the initial comments die down before posting something like, "this is no different to an Islamist driving a truck into a group of holidaymakers, or blowing up a bomb at a concert. Whilst also mentioning the loss of life was awful, guy was clearly nuts etc. Both are acts of terror, one targets the West, another targets Muslims. What's the difference asked I?
Both are designed to target the innocent, to shock, carried out by hugely twisted and subhuman people who have a twisted sense of belief.
Yet I was labelled a racist. Sticking up for the extreme right wing.
Interesting how simply pointing out that terror is terror on both sides labels someone who does that as an extremist themselves.

he played a selection of music on his stream, like remove kebab, a song about ethnic cleansing directed against Bosnian Turks .
he was so callous, shooting everyone, even a brave Muslim had a go but to no avail, sickening what he did, can never be defended.

What the liberal elite are in denial about is that it is their own policies that have brought about the rise in far right activism/Trump/Brexit etc. and now we are seeing the consequences on a global scale.
Be careful what you wish for.
Absolutely correct. Good luck with getting that across on here though.Be careful what you wish for.

You have got to be fking joking? You seriously think that’s an appropriate comment? One of them mentioned that the guy was a sick whatever, so I let the initial comments die down before posting something like, "this is no different to an Islamist driving a truck into a group of holidaymakers, or blowing up a bomb at a concert. Just to show you how it’s not. During the last loony ISIS attack did you say “Hey this is no different to the IRA blowing up a pub full of people in the 1970s”
You really are a disgrace with comments like that. Why the need for the ‘lefty’ comment as well?

On 5Live today - muslims get shot up, muslim are victims. Absolutely. muslims shoot up anyone else, muslims are victims as they've been disenfranchised, and in the case of the Charlie Hebdo cartoons, provoked. One of them mentioned that the guy was a sick whatever, so I let the initial comments die down before posting something like, "this is no different to an Islamist driving a truck into a group of holidaymakers, or blowing up a bomb at a concert. Why don't you post a screenshot here for everyone to review? Pretty shocking though not as much as finding out New Zealand has the internet.
World needs to wake up and realise what is really happening,or they best double up on the body bags.
The entire city of Christchurch has gigabit fiber... World needs to wake up and realise what is really happening,or they best double up on the body bags.
As for body bags let's hope we don't need any more. Wake up and realise what there's a very small number of extremist nutters? They are not us.

We’re all the “Liberal Elite” don’t you know.
I think you know exactly the point i was making ,don't lower yourself into the 'I will try and belittle this individual as I disagree and have no credible response' category ,as it just makes you look foolish to all.Which policy would you say was at fault for this?
