If a referendum means nothing, why vote?

I would want to see the actual options on the table but I would not be attracted by a one policy party like a Brexit party.

I would vote for who ever had the most balanced fiscal policy while not taking more money from the electorate.

I’d find it difficult to embrace either Labour or Tory.

I wish there was a financially conservative, socially liberal, green, pro-firearms party and I’d vote for that wink

There are too many variables to say. Are the current lot in charge of Con/Lab? How credible is the Brexit party*? Who have the independent group hoovered up*?

*and what's their manifesto?

The Independent Group should join the LibDems as they appear to agree on everything.
The Lib Dems are lost after the coalition/failure to sort tuition fees. The independent group needs to stay clear imo and will hoover up the middle ground.

You will only be able to vote for a party if they field a candidate. Do the brexit party have any?

Leadership position is available at the Brexit Party. Usual story: in five minutes and outed as a bigot.

If you had a pure brexit movement, without the bigots it may garner support.

That wouldn't make a majority, though.

The problem is that Brexit is a magnet for them. And scum has a nasty habit of floating to the top.

This was Alan Sked's downfall. He blamed Nigel Farage, Nigel looks a bit of a moderate to what came next!

One of their policies was to take parliament to the pub on a Friday night. Sensible I thought.

If May has the balls to just tell the British people, Look, it's a complete mess, we're calling it off, I'll vote for her.

Doesn't really matter who I vote for. If I don't get the desired election result I'll just start a petition that insists on another election.

I am of the opinion now that Voting is pointless.

MPs do not care about their constituents thoughts only their personal agenda, expenses and business interests.

In this Country it boils down to two parties, there is no porportial repensatation.

Look at how many people voted for UKIP in the past, yet there are no MPs in Parliament.

So until Laws are changed to balance out a fairer electoral system.
I doubt I will bother.

I don't understand why so many people just vote for the two main stream opposing parties. It's like, "my mum and dad vote for this party so I will too!" I find it really depressing.

My area in Surrey has always been Blue. Yet the Conservative run Surrey County Council do a pretty dire job.
Roads and unseccery road furniture are dreadful, I have seen hardly any improvements in my area. I see more and more green field sites being built on.

Looking at how these MPs conduct themselves in the house of Commons is pathetic.
Even if they were all in a Brewery I expect they would argue on how to open a beer barrel, the beer would likely be stale by the time they worked it out!

I think that brexit will get cancelled one way or another, so no point in voting for anybody really. I would think about the Monster Raving Loony Party though, just for a laugh. I voted the Roman Party in a European election once: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_Party

As we have a first past the post system, it looks like there could be many more ways to waste your vote and achieve an undesirable outcome.
