Brexit: Labour must back another referendum - Tom Watson

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48000600

Huge opportunity for Labour to capture much of the middle ground of British politics again.

I like Tom Watson, might make a good PM?
You mean the Tom Watson who frequently abused his position to make unfounded sex abuse slurs on a number of public figures and has since consistently refused to apologise when proven wrong?
Budgie does it again. laugh

Going to be difficult for Farage isn't it? Labour haven't nailed their colors to any mast AFAIK, in fact they've been quite evasive.

A General Election he'd struggle with more, but a Euro Election is an easy win if he chooses his strategy correctly.

EDIT TO ADD

Just looked elsewhere. No Brexit Party candidate standing in the London constituency yet. Whilst London did tip slightly to Remain. (59.9% / 40.1% ) That's still 1.5M people that voted Leave and would probably like to vote for Brexit

Will the Brexit party have MEP's in Scotland, Wales and NI?

I'll give Farage credit that he seems to have pulled a lot of the "Just get us out" vote from the main parties.

It's interesting and frankly annoying that the various remain supporting camps don't appear to have any kind of strategy that won't result in a remain vote being split.

2019 will be Nigel Farage's year - and the Tories' annus horribilis

He will find a better fit with the current electorate than the Change / Independent Group imo

Farage was run out of Scotland the last time he appeared with his xenophobic bile.

He won't be back.

Now, citizens no longer just want to leave the EU, they want to change politics altogether. They want to break the current two-party system and replace it with a Parliament that reflects the views of the country. They know that Britain deserves so much better. Just like the Brexit Party, they want to change politics for good.
He's got my vote.

Many Scots would vote for the Brexit Party. We voted to remain in the UK and that shut down the SNP.

Funny how Scotland wants to stay part of the EU but wants to be separated from the UK.

That makes sense but that's the SNP for you. laugh

Wow, St Farage's new party may get more MEP's than any other party in an organisation that the UK is leaving. A exercise in futility.

Neither he, or any party he is in charge of, will ever be trusted to run the country.

Farage was run out of Scotland the last time he appeared, with xenophobic bile from morons that think being ruled
by unelected eurocrats is preferable to elected UK people in westminster ...

He won't be back.

You celebrate violence and threats in the same way you celebrate the death of people that do not vote how you wish.

You are a truly horrible person, possibly one of the worst PH has seen.

Be careful what you wish for; your Scottish cronies might do well to remember that a PM Nigel might decide to have a closer look at the Barnett Formulasmile. If there are no votes for him, he's got little to lose...

Where am I celebrating violence and threats?

I am simply pointing out a fact, not endorsing or encouraging any sort of behaviour.

I (and others) have pointed out the impact of demographic changes on the wider electoral pool, in an entirely dispassionate way.

Why do you feel the need to twist this into something else?
