Surprised there’s not more of that coming out of the armed forces and the army even realised a Right Wing extremist identification document! It seems that if you’re not a Farage loving, Brexiterring, transphobic, anti-feminist who loves Tommy Robinson you must be a leftie snowflake who loves Corbyn.

Things I’ve witnessed over the last couple of years:

“Have to vote leave to keep those (Syrian refugee) s out”

“fk those immigrant s” when Grenfell happened

Support for Trump supporters “send them back” chant.

Farage/Tommy/Boris “say it how it is” or are vote worthy because “they’re funny”

Calling the MSM fake when taking infowars and Breitbart as the gospel truth.

Irrational fear of feminists and LGBT people who they never encounter.

My personal favourite was when I called Frasier Anning a toilet because of his statement after the NZ mosque shootings. I received a message on WhatsApp off a colleague suggesting he wouldn’t want to go on Ops with me just in case my views got someone killed or prosecuted! To be fair he was still smarting after I took the piss of him after he spent all week close to tears after being dumped by his girlfriend. Poor snowflake.

I may have misunderstood, but are they all anecdotes/quotes from people serving in the armed forces?

Not really a good look is it. What ranks - a mix at all levels?

Private to Sgt but a few have been promoted higher since. Officers seem to be more politically balanced in my limited experience

The thing is that the ideal characteristics of a lower rank, in the Army or Navy, is that they are highly disciplined, skilful double hard bds who can put the fear of God into the enemy. Requiring them to be sensitive and politically correct as well is probably a bridge too far.

If you train people to be self-sufficient killers, you will get self-sufficient killers.

They wont like people sponging off the state for instance as they should try and support themselves if a soldier can do it thousands of miles from civilization, why can't the average joe in an industrialized nation.

Soldiers I think will tend to be more right-wing and I don't see that changing until we start sending social workers to war.

The piss taking was around 3 months after the dumping, he’d completed Tinder and already started seeing someone else. The conversation started when I pipped up to discredit Tommy Robinson and because he had no proper counter argument he went strait to the “leftie snowflake” slur.

We’ve both got over it but he still occasionally has a dig and I’ve learned to not go so nuclear. We were once good mates but he went to a different unit and came back as a ranting loonie.

Well it appearsfrom today's news that Nigel will offer a non competing agreement with Boris to ensure that a no deal Brexit gets across the line. I suggested that this should happen yonks ago.

So the various scenarios should work out as follows given that Boris needs a GE at the earliest possible time both because of his good polling figures and Corbyn's disasterous levels of public confidence.

Scenario 1. Boris pulls off a deal, spikes TBP guns and goes for an early election as the Brexit Champion. Lib Dems hoover up disruntled Remainers in both Labour and Conservative camps. Labour suffers intercine warfare as Momentum, Leave and Remain factions battle over the Labour carcass left by Corbyns inept strategy. . Boris majority obtained. .

No.2. Boris goes for no deal and it actually happens. TBP guns are spiked again, Lib dems hoover up Remain voters and a few Labour Leave seats with Remain MP's change hands to Conservative. Boris gets a majority. Its the night of long knives at selection time in Labour as moderates are expunged and deselected. This will help Conservative gains.

No.3. Boris Brexit plans are scupperred by a combination of Remainers in Parliament, Bercow, the courts and MSM. Boris calls snap election pitting a Leave country against a Remain parliament. This will not end well for the existing Remainers in Parliament. Boris and Nigel agree the non competing deal and every Remain MP in a Leave constituency is targetted, apart from the Tory ones who will be deselected for new obedient Tory candidates. TBP will get free reign to go after Labour in its heartlands. There's probably over 160 seats to go after. TBP willl get a large chunk of them. Intercine warfare at local Labour party level will continue and they will be decimated in the polls. Non Corbyn supporting MP's will be out. Leave supporting Labour MP's will be out. Momentum Remainers will be in, even in Leave constituencies.. The polls will reflect that Labour will have lost their heartland to the Brexit Party. Boris gets a majority with TBP and takes us out of the EU with no deal.

A couple of years later TBP is superflous and Boris calls another election and gets a bigger majority as the Labour heartlands aren't Labour any more.Lib dems pick up ex Labour seats. McDonnel is in charge so Labour is all but dead.

Lib Dems have all the Remainers and form the opposition.

If I was Boris I would be hard pushed to decide which one was the better outcome politically speaking.

Gentlemen, what are your thoughts ?

Cheers,

Tony

If only she'd had some reason to be grateful to Europe.

£100/month. Wonder if any of our regulars are this heavily invested?

Let’s hope Boris tells Farage to stuff his “offer” to ‘collaborate’.

Putting a known racist like Farage near/in government is never a price worth paying.

And still no voting rights but hey, a fee scarf, a newsletter and the ‘opportunity’ to attend events (no doubt at extra cost) sounds awfully tempting.
