Exactly, that's what got him the kicking.....good to see the commuters doing what the Police have failed to do and sort the situation out, XR and their celebrity backers are alienating people not converting them....

I am sick to death of some rich actor or pop star telling me how to live my life after they've been living it up on private yachts and spend half their lives in a jet. Utter tts. And as for the royals wading in - they can go piss up a rope.

They're so rich that they can avoid the effects of this - they will always be able to afford their activities, they won't find themselves out of work or forced to spend hours travelling to work, or paying the extra taxation (and they have so much that it's irrelevant what the extra costs are).

Even Lewis Hamilton is at it - one of the most prominent examples of wealth and excess on earth! FRO, Lewis.
You have to remember that these people live in a bubble far far away from reality. They're egged on to 'say the right thing' by the media, and if they don't, the media simply throw them under a bus.

Absolutely.

One of the worst is Attenborough. Spends his life roaming around the planet, doing more travel than many, many people will ever do. Then as he gets older and slows down a bit, he starts trying to lecture everyone else about how they should live their lives.

Absolute fking hypocrite.

Hamilton has really disappointed me. Years and years of globe trotting, burning lots and lots of fuel, then moans that everyone is destroying the planet. He can fk right off too.

Amazing how these people have the gall to say this when they look like such massive hypocrites.

As for the royals, don't even get me started on that shower. hehe

Well done to the commuters today. Did what the useless police should have done months ago.

I feel sorry for the TFL workers who had to get involved in this.

Best bit of news of the day. Weirdly the pIllock on the news couldn’t explain why they were targeting public transport, the kind that they are supposed to be promoting.
It's because they're thick as pig st isn't it. I'm completely opposed to their aims, but if we put aside that their actions are based on a number of false premises, I could happily argue that this action was a legitimate in the context of what they want to achieve. They were targeting commuters, cutting off the supply of labour to the Capitalist Pig-Dogs in the City.

Why would you pick Canning town? Go to Canary Wharf for an easier life.
Not sure you'd get on top of a train there with the barriers.

And any stop where you can is not somewhere to be messed with smile

XR need to understand they do not have public support.

And the police will need to start exercising their powers to disperse them quickly in future or this will start to get very messy.

About time too! fk 'em.
I don't think there'll be fisty-cuffs at Gatwick - passengers too worried about not making their flights....
I'm not normally a vigilante, but in this case....

Top comment from the Daily Mail story:

'The guy trying to pull off the protester deserves a medal' hehe

I do believe people have had enough of XR now. This is only going to get worse.

The Police have to follow rules, otherwise the world comes down on them.

From what I've heard several members of the public have been arrested too (source: colleague was at Canning Town)

I am of a fairly liberal leaning, but it did make me smile to see these idiots getting dragged off the train and giving a kicking.

No doubt those delivering the kicking will be arrested and charged with assault - which is only right, we cannot support vigilantism.

They are a clueless bunch of fkos.

Chap on the radio this morning said XR had rightly targeted London City Airport as it was only used by Billionaire Bankers.

Mkay.

What I loved, from the various videos, is how united the public are in wanting to give these idiots the battering they deserve. People from all different walks of life and races, itching to make contact, by foot, fist or any other means possible. hehe

The British public really are great.
