Dear oh dear. XR really are their own worst enemies. The well of stupidity is bottomless. They use a diesel-fuelled vehicle to transport a load of horse manure and although they profess to be vegans - i.e. they won't use any animal products of any description, here they are shovelling the excrement.

Hopefully this will help them to grow up...
Hope this is the right thread.
Schiphol airport was the place they wanted to be this time, the police did what they needed for the good of all including ER.
They left around 15:45 today in 17 diesel bloody transit vans. Arranged by Greenpeace so lots of stuff to take away after.
We had a 5 hour wait before the flight so saw ER coming in and out and out grabbing coffee, food in plastic packaging
Happy once we could bugger off upstairs to the airside departure zone.

It is a fking electric bus. Their stupidity knows no bounds...
Must be taking issue with the use of lithium and its destructive mining process so even their extreme demands to ban all internal combustion engines in 5 years falls short. They're planning to protest against the Coca Cola truck and while I despise the commercialisation of Christmas and see it as the most wasteful time of the year, becoming the biggest killjoys on the planet is pretty bad PR, even for them.

Very tiresome now. A lot of ordinary people queue literally all day to get in to the public pens alongside the red (blue in this case) carpet at these big premieres to see their heroes, in the case of this one they had to be at some church half way across soho at 7.30am to get a wristband that would let them be behind the barriers later in the evening. The fact that they go through that process suggests they really want to be there. All this sort of ER action will do will make the film companies put up bigger barriers / more goons standing between fans and stars / smaller public pens, and spoil it for the fans.Looks like their protest lasted all of about 55 seconds before the Disney security goons carried them off and dumped them around at the Empire cinema's side door anyway. Wow, well done.
Must everything be spoiled by these tossers now to get their anarchy across.

What a surprise, Bristol XR At least while they were there, they weren't waving placards at passing motorists in the middle of Bristol.
This is one Extinction rebellion's leaders, the one who wrote the blog 'Extinction Rebellion isn’t about the Climate'

It's 13 minutes of some overly colourful weird beard wearing leggings far too tight (you'll need to place a post it note over the screen) and talks utter nonsense.

It's a time of massive waste whether that be be food, paper, or plastic. But they all appear to be wearing acrylic costumes made in China, and the masks aren't papier mache either...Maybe I should slot this into "Things that annoy you beyond reason". But a judge has ruled that if the "stinky rebels" glue themselves to a train and cause disruption, it's a "noble cause". The miscreants have been spared jail.

Would driving over them to reduce the human population be a noble cause? https://uk.news.yahoo.com/extinction-rebellion-act...

Love it how they left in the “um”s and “ar”s from the interviews.
