Live video on sky its well going, will be hard to put that out. Whilst I have no interest in churches its sad to see something that's 700 yeas old burn.

That's going to be a total loss, no way will they be able to get enough kit up there to tackle it
As a last resort the French have fire fighting aircraft or helicopters, might be the only answer.

Looks like the roof is almost completely gone. What’s holding up the spire? It’s completely ablaze
Imagine if St Paul’s caught fire like this frown

Fire fighting aircraft must be an option surely? I know France has plenty of them, just depends how far away I guess.

Oh man that’s really sad to see I’m not religious
But that’s part of the heritage of Paris an icon
It’s hard to imagine how devastating that will be to the building can it ever come back from that

Having seen a fire crew trying to put out a refuse truck at Lemans, I don’t feel their fire crews are quite as geared up for things as ours. Can’t see any fire crews on TV.

There were 2 or 3 on the roof directly under the scaffolding about 2-3 mins ago. If they make it out of that its a miracle.
