Wow. Just wow. Some people really are thick, or deliberate trolls.
It's nothing to do with the fact she is black, or a woman. Its the fact she is a hypocritical, incompetent bigot who should have no place potentially holding one of the higest powered offices in the country should labour get into power. Someone who is responsible for making laws (even as a member of the opposition) who is flouting them and you seem to think that people who object to this are racist??? You sir are part of the problem. Stop being part of the problem.
Yep, I've just noticed your user name too. Old, broken and probably White. As you were everyone It's nothing to do with the fact she is black, or a woman. - edit* just spotted the username. Yep, trolling. As you were everyone.
Had Abbott been drinking just before she appeared on ‘This Week’ alongside Portillo. Abbott
stated that Chairman Mao ‘on balance, did more good than harm’.
Bloody hell how do you defend a statement like that? Portillo was pissing himself with laughter up until the Shadow Home Secretary blurted that one out, then he seemed as stunned by her gross ineptitude, knowledge, understanding or just plain honest utter stupidity as the viewers of the program.
Her supping on a can of booze on a train seems innocent by her apparent standards.

quite possibly it is the most ridiculous - but it IS the law. Surely s such she should obey the bloody thing.
As an aside to looney - look at the disproportionate lambasting that the sainted Maggie T gets from the left. Misogyny and racism there too?
If only people had the same attitude to speeding which seems to be a law widely spoken about being ignored with impunity on this forum As an aside to looney - look at the disproportionate lambasting that the sainted Maggie T gets from the left. Misogyny and racism there too?

This has been discussed and it was in a discussion about comparing the relative evils of various dictators. It is a ridiculous statement in isolation, but given the situational integrity of its context it is not so ridiculous. stated that Chairman Mao ‘on balance, did more good than harm’.

"Mao wasn't as bad as Hitler" is a relative comparison

You were looking for racism in this thread. ..Looking forward to the next DA thread, it'll likely be along the lines of 'Diane Abbott had breakfast this morning'

Whoosh!!Looking forward to the next DA thread, it'll likely be along the lines of 'Diane Abbott had breakfast this morning'
So far the only overt racism on this thread has been from you. Why do you hate white people so much?

Looks in, sees it's the same old casual/covert racism as on all of the other DA threads with the same posters at the forefront.

Loony is a waste of effort, you can tell that for all his sanctimonious indignation what he really likes is to piss people off and have a superior snigger about it. I suspect he shows this stuff to his friends.
Crikey, you think I'd show my friends the inane ramblings of a bunch of DA haters on PH? The last page shows that some people cannot see past colour but thankfully most can. It also shows that sometimes those being most fervently anti racist are in fact the most racist - weird.
Anyway, in an attempt to come back to the actual topic, my personal view is that the stupidity of the law is irrelevant to a law breaker who sits amongst six hundred odd others in the land with the esteemed honour of actually making law!
I think the phrase is beyond reproach.
The law is the law - end of.
All credibility, whatever was left, has now gone in my mind.

I'm out for a while. I'll let you get back to your flaying of DA in this thread and pick up with y'all again in next weeks fresh thread on her.
Yay, they've gone. What an oddly troubled individual. A classic example of someone who firmly believes that by playing the race card at every opportunity they are actually doing good. When the reality is actually true. I would suggest they go back and read the boy who cried wolf.On the actually topic I couldnt give a monkeys about any one drinking on TFL illegal or not. But any representative of the people needs to be whiter than white and fully understand how they are being perceived by the population - DA fails miserably time and time again in her ability to demonstrate that she is worthy of her position.

No matter which way you slice it, there's more results for Boris Johnson than DA on PH.
That’s because so many DA threads have been deleted Lets also mention that a lot of the posts about Boris are in support of him - not something you could reasonably say about DA or at all actually as I've yet to see one.
