Well, that's one interpretation, but not necessarily the one that the majority abide by. I've lived/worked in North Africa for two decades and my observation is that extremists and terrorists are equally reviled there as here [Christians are a poor 4th/5th in the league table of who to get rid of].

Look how Ayatollah Khomeini deliberately mis-interpreted the ritual self-flagellation used to mark Husayn ibn Ali's sufferage to get around the fact the Qur'an prohibits self-harm and suicide, all to enable him to send tens of thousands of kids to their certain death during the Iran-Iraq wars. Shortly afterwards Hezbollah [also Syrian-Iran backed] refined the idea of human mine detectors to arrive at the suicide bomber, first used to great effect in Beirut against the Americans but since used extensively, despite what is written in the Qur'an.

Erm, no they're not, but genes include dna, the basis for heredity, if everyone had the same genes incorporating the same dna then we would all be the same. Unless you are just taking the piss?

No, we're not all the same, but our DNA doesn't contain "religion" identifiers (primarily because religion isn't an evolutionary or natural thing)

One of my mate's work colleagues was in the targeted hotel with his folks. While at breakfast he went up to his room to get his phone and the explosion happened. Both parents dead.

A strange twist if fate when you consider his occupation revolved around explosives.

You think he’s going to hire some mercenaries to kill the potential terrorists ?

My point was for all his money it made no difference to whoever decided to blow themselves up , his family were worth the same as the chef or the person clearing the tables.
