I don't get this seemingly overriding perception of public services being massively under funded.
Then if this is true then why? The thing you here from things like NHS, schools is because of increased demand. Where is this demand coming from? If its the 300 thousand new people each year then we are told that these are a net tax benefit, they pay in more than they take out. so surely our tax take should be easily increasing to cover these extra costs?
