No one in the audience who voted for Boris can say anything good about him. FML!
And that screams volumes about all the other parties doesn’t it.

Kinnock talking sense, manifesto,s should be independently vetted.
Why? Well the IFS does this to all 4 main parties anyway so not sure the extra requirement.

Regardless manifestos should be partly business case but also hopes ambitions goals

Good evening gentleman.
Sorry I didn't put up the usual who is on Question Time information (and pictures). This was not due to rapped knuckles. from events the previous week.
As at lunchtime there was still no announcement as to the panel. No surprise as it would have been a late arrangement anyway. I had planned to do this at tea time

However late afternoon my own Red Wall was breached.
Not by a Tory victory but by an out of control BMW driven by a chap who lost control of his vehicle. I may pop some pictures up elsewhere but let's just say late 1950's British solid brick wall building is more than a match for 2017 German engineering - his cars a right royal mess.
The driver is ok but disorientated and is now more familiar with his air bag arrangement than yesterday.
Hilariously our youngest daughter lectured him about breaking the Christmas lights on the bushes and he was really apologetic.

By smashing through the red wall he severed the internet cable that fed through (under) the wall
This is an unwelcome event but one that will be sorted within the next 4 days as the wall will be remade and Virgin are relaying the cable on Tuesday.
I am not too sure that state sponsored broadband via Comrade Corbyn would have been so quick to arrange repair However we will never find out now

I would mention that with his repeated appearances I think it's high time Question Time format was changed slightly to become
Question Time with Fiona Bruce and Barry Gardiner
I believe that's it for Question Time this year.
I would like to thank you all for the various bits of banter and laughs in the thread and wish each and everyone of you a great Christmas and New Year or for the politically correct - Happy Holidays.

I hope Techie's red wall is the only one that can be remade.

Under Corby's broadband rules, Virgin lines would be only for the politburo, so you would have been cut-off yesterday anyway. smile

Off topic but quick update
He has been charged with Drunk driving and the lads who collected the car reckon it's a clear right off
He's lucky not to have been hurt really,. Anyway
QT is repeated I think tomorrow (Sunday) night then that's it till 9th January.

Have to say it though it's a crying shame that This week has finished. the end of the year programme which is / was a sort of roundup which would normally have gone out next Thursday 19th would have been a blinder.

I note Alan Johnson had a proper go on election night about Monentum. Would’ve loved to see Neil, Portillo and him this week.

rofl He's dead right though. Lansman has indeed harnessed a huge constituency of Student Grants and Milly Tants with fervour and fire in their bellies, but that fire is for policies that the british public will not vote for, barring a policy vacuum from the tories and/or terrible leadership(see 2017 for details). QED.

The fun isn't over yet.
Rebecca LB and Richard Burgon are pro-Momentum - and Momentum supporters account for a lot of the membership that get a vote.

This sets the scene for one HELL of a popcorn munching battle between the likes of Hilary Benn and Co. (normal Labour) vs those who want to align themselves with the Mo message.
The outcome of which is sure to be bloody, and is sure to make the election campaign look like a relaxed discussion.

Look out for Laura Parker too, she's Mo's national coordinator and Corbyn's ex private secretary. She gets lots of air time on PL and I wouldn't be surprised if she stood too.

When they fight each other in public the real deep seated nastiness of the left far exceeds that of other political parties, it betrays what & who they are and shows their inner hate and envy : the only two drivers in their deluded immature political minds.

......and as has been recently demonstrated that will go down like a cup of cold sick with the electorate.

The Labour party has a serious identity problem now. Just what is it for?

Marxism has been soundly rejected & a big chunk of the electorate also now realises how damaging New Labour was in all sorts of ways so they can't really go back there either

New Leadership also has its own entry elsewhere

Maybe Labour could look to its history and to the future. They have a reputation for being ste with money so best not dwell on that.
They do also have a reputation for being Liberal towards people. Homosexuality etc.

Why not rebrand Liberal Labour or Labour Liberals
Chuka could lead them

Thornbelly has started the bidding by taking Flint to court over something she did/didn't say in the past.
Hopefully one of them (or both, hehe) will be on QT to explain what went on.

Libel/slander trials are almost always never a great way to improve your public image. I am not sure it's a great position to take for a future leader, who probably needs to be promoting their qualifications at building bridges.

It's natural to form an opinion of someone's motives when they constantly appear over a long time on TV. With Thornberry's background and haughtily dismissive attitude she also comes across as devious. I think she suspects the 'leak' came from someone close to her and has a plan to reveal the identity. By acting against Flint she hopes Flint will reveal all and will then cease the action. Flint is not wealthy and she knows Thornberry is connected, ruthless and determined. Just the kind of leader to unite the party.

Thornberry cannot hide her poisonous hate and self loathing filled personality hidden for long, her mask slips quicker than your heal on a dog-turd.
