Discussion

again, we have an 'influencer' on the panel, and I've never heard of her. Comedians, jugglers, influencers, poets........why do they insist on having these people on the panel ? They bring absolutely nothing to the discussion, and certainly don't influence me.
Just because you haven’t heard of them, and probably aren’t prepared to listen to what they say, does not exclude them from having an opinion. abzmike said:

Why?
Because they are the people who have been voted in by the public, and they are expected to respond to the questions put to them by the audience. If we remove the politicians from the panel we may as well have just have a discussion in the pub. As I have been advised - everyone has an opinion. I like to hear how the political parties will deal with the issues raised.bomb said:

But you never hear 'how', they just speak in banal platitudes. The 'how' is NEVER answered.
You're right there. Maybe more Captains of Industry should appear then, as they are actually doing the hard core business, and are not shy in sharing their opinions on HOW to get stuff done. Thursday 10.35pm ITV 4 Daniel Craig is about a third of the way through his Casino Royale debut which started at 9pm.
