I think she handled herself very well last night, clear answers, but the audience weren't happy with the answers, obviously.
It was Hackney, VERY left wing.
Isn’t Hackney the home territory of the seldom seen Abbotpotomus?

Suella Braverman is my local MP and I've met her a couple of times. She is a very pleasant lady, ultra loyal to Boris, and very much follows the party line. I thought she stood up rather well to the hostile audience. The young chap at the end, for example, was literally yelling in rage, demanding Boris' resignation, but Ms. Braverman stuck to her guns.

Oh, and I thought Geoff Norcott was, as ever, very measured and fair. I completely disagree with the poster above who was rude about him.

I wanted to see what Seb contributed. I didn't stay long, therefore.

Indeed. Nice bloke, I thought, but honestly what are they thinking having a racing driver on the panel? Surely the audience provides the non-expert input, not the panellists?

Interesting panel though. Are we going to have other sports persons in future? Please don't say Gary Lineker...
Joey Barton was on the panel a few years ago.

If my memory serves me correctly, Clarke Carlisle has appeared on QT a number of times as well.

Suella Braverman Conservative Attorney General for England and Wales and Advocate General for Northern Ireland (And a mighty fine looking woman IMO)
Shabana Mahmood The Labour Party National Campaign Coordinator (ditto)
Miatta Fahnbulleh Chief Executive New Economics Foundation (ditto)
Geoff Norcott Right Wing comedian
Sebastian Vettel – yes really
I thought Suella did well under some tough questions.

Shabana stuck to her script.

Miatta spouted her usual utter nonsense. She had the best line of the show "The Government
should stop playing politics". I nearly split my drink.

Geoff made some good points, I thought.

The German racing driver has clearly been taking brevity lessons from that other
master of the short comment, Kinnock N. Hopefully he won't be invited back.

It can take a 'third person', neutral/outsider to reaffirm line of views/arguments or offer foreign perspectives.

Just up the road. How can anyone with even half a brain have voted for her.

I like to hear how others see us. They often have a better view than we do. Unfortunately, Seb is too busy bouncing from one country to another and doesn't get the chance to see the wood for the trees.

He was 100% correct when he said that we voted for Brexit, so it's our bed, we need to lie in it.

Yes, I see that, but he prefaced most of his comments with "well, I am not wery [sic] up to date on zis...."
Given that there's a limited number of panellists, I think that wasting a slot on some foreign sports person is, well, a waste.
Especially when you've already got a neutral in Geoff Norcott there.
That said, if the whole panel was neutral observers, it might be a better show. Let's face it, it could hardly be much worse.

For exactly the same reasons Keith Vaz kept getting voted back in in Leicester East and Weasel Khan keeps getting voted back as Lord Mayor of Londonistan.

BBC 1 Thursday 19th May 10.40pm

From Liverpool, Fiona’s panel includes
Lucy Frazer – Conservative Financial Secretary to the Treasury
Lucy Powell – Labour Shadow Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport
Alyn Smith – SNP Foreign Affairs Spokesperson
Emily Carver Head of Media at Institute of Economic Affairs
Mo Hussein Commentator

And after the success of last weeks sports personality appearance tonight’s celebrity sports personality will be either :
Dina Asher-Smith – sprinter and an acknowledged expert on the advantages of yoghurt in your diet
Or
Paddy McGuinness who presents A Question of Sport and Top Gear

Questions may include
All Tories are complete scum but some are worse than others
The Tories hate Liverpool and it’s an insult having one here tonight
The Tax Cuts won’t help anyone we need free money and there should be a one off payment of 2 grand via a letter you can take to the post office and get cash for
Now that a Tory MP is being investigated for rape there should be a general election with all Conservatives banned from being able to take part in
As the country is in crisis the investigations into Beergate should be stopped and Keir Starmer should be invited to form a Government of National Unity with the SNP, Lib Dems and those welsh folk taking part – no tory involvement as they got us into this mess
It’s clearly vital that another vote should take place for Scottish independence with the voting age lowered to 12
That’s a nice watch you have on Fiona what make is it

The Panel

Over on ITV 4 Bond is out to kick ass in Casino Royale

Oh no, not Alyn Smith. Self obsessed preening narcissist and self appointed person of importance. Became all huffy when the Westminster government didn't consult him over our terms of withdrawal from the EU, as if it's any of his business in the slightest. Also proud winner of 'most hilarious eyebrow in politics' for ten years running.

First time I've seen this spoon, the eyebrows wouldn't look out of place on a Mr potato head. Especially loved the "why are you here?" question by the expert in her field Emily Carver. Why is anyone from the SNP is in Liverpool in the first place? We're sick of the useless parish chancellors up here in Scotland without subjecting anyone South of the border to their bile.

Got to be honest looking at linked in for Emily Carver - she really doesn’t have much real world experience
