Presumably the tub of lard which is the usual BBC current affairs stand-in had a day off or something?
Who are you referring to ?Has Tim Stanley always been this one dimensional but I just failed to notice? A contrarian but unwilling to traduce the prophet, how lame. The rest of the panel aren't much better; Lammy in particular just loves the sound of his own voice, taking a very long time to say nothing at all.
I thought Stanley was rather better than usual last night, but that failure to follow his convictions was very notable. Warsi was, as always, a very effective voice. Lammy was Lammying throughout. Caroline Lucas standing down will be a loss for the Greens, obvs.
I noticed that the compere lady (whoever she was...) put her foot in it again. This time with the lady who was wearing dark glasses for a medical reason.

They set a low standard and consistently fail to meet it. Rod Liddle and the other guest have made a few good points but it's hard work with the other two. No mention of the colossally bent teeside development scam despite a lot of "Isn't Houchen wonderful" hagiography, although the laughter in the audience suggests not all teesiders have the same opinion.

Rod Liddle. They really are scraping the barrel.Did he eat any poppadoms? (IYKYK)
I can't even summon the energy to watch it as it's so st. Lots to discuss, Tory party circling the drain ever faster, Labour being very boring, SNP CEO maybe going to gaol for embezzlement, SNP govt incapable of zipping its flies after taking a pee without dribbling, Libdems MIA, Reform trying not to appear the closet racists they are, but this programme is a irredeemable dog in the manger, taking up prime BBC current affairs schedule real estate with its stinky zombie carcass. Kill it, kill it with fire.

Chas Moore couldn't be more out of touch if he was sent to the Moon by NASA. Blithers on about immigration as though Rwanda might have a meaningful effect on it rather than be the most expensive panto since Dick Whittington. Whoever the berk from tory central casting was equally moronic.
