People who are biased tend to hate someone no matter what they do. After 3 years in government perhaps a time not to take the easy route and say why the 45th President does some very good things.
1. He didn't drain the swamp. But nobody is talking about it anymore.
There was never any swamp. Trump proved that just by his actions "look at me" rather than imaginary Washington swamp in the first place.
2. He proved the deep state doesn't actually exist apart from the tinfoilers.
Same to the argument in 1 above. His actions have seem to have defeated the so called deep state over the last 2 years because the deep state does not exist, so easily shown so. Deep State currently is who gets fired next. That's not very deep

What democracies try to do is to put in place systems of governance which limit the level of corruption that Politicians or people in power can sink to. For me personally (and YMMV) the "entertainment" value is outweighed exponentially by the fact that he's an extremely vile loathsome individual. I genuinely cannot think of one redeeming feature he has. One of the things his Presidency has done is to look back at his life, and the number of incidences of his loathsome behaviour shows what a despicable individual he is. It might be entertaining from a psychiatric point of view and I'm sure there will be many studies into how somebody like him managed to ascend to the highest office in the World but it's entertaining in the same way the "two girls, One Cup" video is entertaining.Countdown said:
