Maybe she’s not his type...

@realDonaldTrump
Women’s soccer player, @meganrapino, just stated that she is “not going to the F...ing White House if we win.” Other than the NBA, which now refuses to call owners, owners (please explain that I just got Criminal Justice Reform passed, Black unemployment is at the lowest level in our Country’s history, and the poverty index is also best number EVER), leagues and teams love coming to the White House. I am a big fan of the American Team, and Women’s Soccer, but Megan should WIN first before she TALKS! Finish the job! We haven’t yet invited Megan or the team, but I am now inviting the TEAM, win or lose. Megan should never disrespect our Country, the White House, or our Flag, especially since so much has been done for her & the team. Be proud of the Flag that you wear. The USA is doing GREAT!

He has also tagged the wrong account again.

Trump giving another interview to Fox News today.

He sounds like a confused old man ranting down the phone. Everything is about him, how great he is, his approval ratings are so high.

How the fk people vote for him I never know.

The House Oversight and Reform Committee on Wednesday voted to subpoena White House counselor Kellyanne Conway after she did not appear voluntarily at a hearing focused on her repeated alleged violations of the Hatch Act.

The committee voted 25-16 to compel Conway's testimony following roughly 30 minutes of arguments over the validity of the Office of Special Counsel's (OSC) findings that she repeatedly violated the law, which prohibits federal officials from weighing in on elections in their government capacity.
https://thehill.com/homenews/house/450419-house-pa...

Special Counsel Henry Kerner testified before the Oversight committee that Kellyanne Conway never once responded to his office. Not once. Not only does she seem to hold herself above the law, she also seems to think it's illegitimate to even *ask* if she violated the law.

Swamp news.

Bill Wehrum, a top Environmental Protection Agency official who helped reverse Obama-era rules aimed at cutting emissions of greenhouse gases and other air pollutants, is stepping down amid scrutiny over possible violations of federal ethics rules.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/climate-environment...

Less than one month after joining the EPA, Wehrum met with two former clients at his old firm without consulting in advance with ethics officials, even though they had cautioned him about such interactions. That same month, Wehrum participated in a decision that appeared to benefit a former client, DTE Energy, in which then-EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt issued a memo stating that the agency would not be “second guessing utilities” when they projected whether they would need a few federal permits after expanding their operations.

Pictures like this, and emotive terms (“catastrophe", "concentration camp", "relative poverty" - often with "relative" dropped) are becoming the weapon of choice it seems. As you note, care for the individuals is secondary, it feels. It's point scoring.
Is it so hard to imagine that people are outraged that children are being separated from their parents, kept in squalid conditions and some are dying as a result? It must be point scoring I guess, because why would anyone care about that?

Why the sarcasm? Perfectly reasonable comment.

If I was professional sporstman and I was being asked political questions of no relevance to my sport, I'd say no comment.

Why get involved in Trumps nonsense. It could backfire on her. Especially the way she swore.

Could've been handled better. Simple as that.

Fascism? I think you're getting a bit excited.

She's at the world cup and should'nt have let herself get embroiled in a political scandal IMO.

Sport and politics rarely mix well.

I'm not saying she should attend the White House. Far from it. I absolutely respect her stance. And that of others who have refused to attend previously.

Her feelings towards Trump are known already, that's why she was singled out for the question.

So saying "What do think?" or laughing sarcastically and saying "No comment", when asked would've been far wiser.

Answering by swearing doesn't reflect well on her.

I'm not debating this any further. I've given my opinion. You're entitled to yours.

Trumps twitter reaction to the very sad photo of the drowned immigrants today just go to show that the man is an utter, utter c**t. Making a jibe at Obama during his comment on this isn’t utterly classless.

I hope he dies horribly, soon.

America, please wake up. Look at what you have.

Of course it isn't.

But the outrage needs to be focused on the right thing to resolve anything and in these modern times of media (social or otherwise) hysteria I am far from convinced that is happening.

As an example, the link was posted in this thread about Trump. Is it solely at his door? Even mainly? I don't think it is... But then I don't seem to be quite as impacted by him as an individual as many seem to get.

I think it does. I quite specifically didn't want the US favourites to win (being a Sweden supporter) but now I'd be quite happy if they did to see the fall-out.

Yet it's ok for trump to interfere with sportsmen? It's not long since he was saying owners should sack those tacking a knee.

Did you see what he said about McCain?

Trump: "We needed 60 votes. And we had 51 votes. And sometimes, you know, we had a little hard time with a couple of them, right? Fortunately, they're gone now. They've gone on to greener pastures. Or perhaps far less green pastures... They're gone. I'm very happy they're gone."

Reporters asked Trump whether he will ask Putin not to meddle in the 2020 election during their meeting. He said what he speaks to Putin about this week is “none of your business.”

That's the same answer he used about his tax returns, his gun ownership, his money from his businesses, how much his golfing costs, many many times he's used this.

Come on Byker you know full well I'm not saying that.

You know my opinion of the man. He's a dick.

But why stoop to his level? People can make him look more of dick by rising above it.

Nancy Pelosi is a good example of that.
