Mmm, okay, You are interested enough to post here, but not interested enough to research even a little bit those stories you have mentioned? Because, to put it plainly, they are bks. Do you care about that? Do you care at all that trump has lied over 10,000 times since taking office, even as an 'onlooker'?

This is something I am really curious about because I find it genuinely perplexing that anyone who has a reasonable understanding of the sheer ishness of trump wouldn't be hopping mad about it.
No because I already know that it'll be 50% bullst and 50% sensationalism. Much as the 10,000 lies will be 50% bullst and 50% sensationalism.

This half of America don't see them being told to leave the USA if they don't like it as racist, they see it as a long overdue rebuke to people that are abusing their positions and undermining their society.
By 'abusing their positions and undermining their society' do you mean 'telling s it's not okay to act like s'? Because it looks like it.

If not, in what way are these uppity non-white women abusing their positions and undermining their society? Or is it reasonable to conclude that they aren't doing that at all, they're trying to make it better, and it's actually the people abusing them who are the problem? (BTW please don't tell me to go off and try to find evidence to support your position, it's on you to provide it).
Funnily enough

is pretty much what the Trump camp think Trump has said to his opponents.

I said that the Trump camp views these women as playing the race and gender card to undermine America and you respond by playing the race and gender card to discredit me for pointing that out. I'm not sure why you object to someone having an opinion on what someone else thinks.

There are plenty of videos on the "squad" ranging from news clips and debates to bizarre rants and most of them are accompanied by comments that are hostile to the squad but are not actually about race.

What we are seeing is a culture war in which issues such as race, gender and faith are seen very differently by both sides. Saying "it's about race" might be how the left want to frame it but it leaves out both a lot of context and a lot of the points the right was trying to make.

Omar blah blah blah

Everything I read in any MSM I take with a truckload of salt. Be it CNN or FOX, they are all just exploiting the situation for the $$$$$

Then above post all the negative headline, ignoring any facts about her, saying you aren't interested, because it doesn't follow the narrative you want to believe. Omar hasn't done any of those things above, but what she has done is to attack trump.

trump likes his women to be deferential, he doesn't like strong women, one suspects a hang up from his mother. Every aspect of his behaviour is about dominating women, from the sexual assaults and rapes, to the language he uses.

Trump has sued to block a New York law that would allow Congress to obtain his state tax return. trump assured us his tax returns were "amazing" and "beautiful", but doesn't want anyone to see them.

As the House Democrats are preparing to pass a measure intended to strengthen their court case to access Trump's personal financial info.

The proposal would formally declare that any committee subpoenas are presumed to have the blessing of the full House.

NBC News is reporting that Mueller deputy Aaron Zebley will be sworn in as a witness by the House Intelligence Committee. Ruth Maddow says that the expectation now is that Zebley will be answering questions alongside Mueller during that second hearing.

and Judiciary Chair Jerry Nadler is readying his next step: seeking to compel testimony from former W.H. counsel Don McGahn, the person considered to be the potential linchpin of an obstruction of justice case.

Mind you he's running scared. More lies when he said the Mueller report exonerated him

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

So Robert Mueller has now asked for his long time Never Trumper lawyer to sit beside him and help with answers. What’s this all about? His lawyer represented the “basement server guy” who got off free in the Crooked Hillary case. This should NOT be allowed. Rigged Witch Hunt!

7:29 PM - 23 Jul 2019

This is Mueller's deputy, who ran day to day operations. Why would this upset trump because he repeatedly said that the Mueller report found no collusion & no obstruction.

MAGA bomber is trying to claim he was radicalised by trump TV

Lawyers for Cesar Sayoc, the man who pleaded guilty in the spring to sending numerous packages containing improvised explosive devices to various voices on the left and opponents of President Donald Trump in general, said this week that their client was influenced by Fox News.

Sayoc paid little mind to cable news networks before Trump decided to run for office. But because he was a fan of his motivational tapes and other products, Sayoc paid closer attention, primarily to Fox News, after Trump’s 2015 announcement. He even “began watching Fox News religiously at the gym, planning his morning workout to coincide with Fox and Friends and his evenings to dovetail with Hannity.”

Either I didn't explain myself properly or you've misunderstood.

I posted those headlines because they are what I have seen, however, I know they will be lies and sensationalism because that's what generates the $$$$$ just as the 'opposition' does to Trump

Do you think it only works one way? You can always count on Byker's links to come from certain news outlets, do you think maybe that's because they pander to people that dislike Trump?

I think everyone in here needs to take a healthy dose of sceptisicm with what they read whether it bolsters their position or not.

Don't get me wrong, there will be truth in there but its covered in emotional hyperbole, on both sides. If you cant see that then maybe you're a bit too deep in it

You seem to think that all lies are equal and that the lies of either side therefore neutralise the debate.

That is an extremely simplistic and naive view of the situation.

Except it's false equivalence (a standard deflection of the "I don't support Trump but..." non-racist, non-sexist). Aphex admits he is unwilling to read beyond the headlines, so he can't possibly know*. But others of us can and do. Comparing CNN and Fox (to take the two most obvious examples) objectively:

  • Fox News is True/Mostly True 22% of the time
  • Fox News is Mostly False/False/Pants-on-Fire 59% of the time
  • CNN is True/Mostly True 52% of the time
  • CNN is Mostly False/False/Pants-on-Fire 28% of the time

What *exactly* are these rants about then? I mean beyond some vague all-encompassing 'these women aren't patriotic', because that's a bullst statement with zero substance. Do you think these rants etc would be out there at all if they weren't non-white women? Where are all the rants, the rally chants of send them home, directed at white male Dems who hold similar liberal views?

I don't disagree that it's a culture war, but again what are these points the right is trying to make, specifically? BTW it's fine to frame the sustained attacks on these four women as racial (with a side order of misogyny) if none of the 'points the right was trying to make' - whatever they are - don't actually stand up to scrutiny.
