Just curious, is it a typo when you call him Sonderland or is there a reason? Noticed it in most posts about him so wandering if its a joke thing or just typos wink

The only deliberate misspelling I ever do is to spell trump with a small t biggrin
As I said above, I wasn't having a go, just wasn't sure if it was on purpose or not. I can certainly forgive small spelling mistakes like that with the amount of info you are providing us daily! thumbup
Unlike trumpettes, happy to be pulled up and corrected and it's PH... speed, sorry spelling matters biggrin
There's so many players, so much happening every day...

trumps lost in court again. Congress can seek eight years of Trump's tax records

I doubt it will make any difference.

Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow said:
the president’s legal team “will be seeking review at the Supreme Court.”
The article also said:
A majority of the court’s 11 active judges voted against revisiting the case. Three judges — Neomi Rao, Gregory Katsas and Karen LeCraft Henderson — indicated that they would have granted the rehearing and published dissenting statements. Rao and Katsas, both former Trump administration officials, were nominated to the bench by the president.
One of the reasons why the GOP is 99% behind the Orange Turd is that he's managed to get something like 200 conservative judges approved to various benches/posts. That legacy will have a much much bigger impact on the US than anything else Trump has done.
Countdown - this is absolutely 100% the saddest thing about the whole Trump debacle.
He has loaded the conservative dice for a generation or longer now.

And he is genuinely above the law to an incredible degree since he can just appeal EVERYTHING up to the Supreme Court and have it his way.
There is no way his tax returns are coming out if he doesn't want them to.
(Although, it is frankly irrelevant now, as we know he could shoot someone and the Forever-Trumpers would just support him all the more.)
I was going to follow this up with some more detailed reporting, but to be honest, this thread lays out everything with trump taxes and the delays probably sought in hearing/delaying the cases

You're not kidding. Even after we hear of trumps criminal activities, it continues

The Senate voted Thursday to make Steven Menashi a lifetime federal judge, despite his inflammatory writings about women’s rights and diversity, his refusal to answer senators’ questions and his role in devising an illegal Education Department effort to deny debt relief to students cheated by for-profit colleges.

Every Democrat present voted against confirming Menashi, who is President Donald Trump’s choice for a lifetime seat on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. Every Republican present but one, Sen. Susan Collins (Maine), voted to confirm him.

Menashi is currently Trump’s White House legal aide, has compared race data collection in college admissions to Germany under Adolf Hitler; denounced women’s marches against sexual assault; opposed the “radical abortion rights codified in Roe v. Wade”; accused the Human Rights Campaign of having “incessantly exploited the slaying of Matthew Shepard” for political benefit, and claimed that a Dartmouth fraternity wasn’t being racist when it held a “ghetto party” attended by white students donning Afros and carrying toy guns.

He also spread the Islamophobic myth that in 1913, Gen. John Pershing executed Muslim prisoners in the Philippines using bullets dipped in pig fat.

Nothing to see here, nothing to hide...

Trump has moved to force the dismissal of the lawsuit brought by Bolton aide seeking to determine whether to testify in House impeachment proceedings.

He's claiming presidential privilege

and says that Kupperman was too close to trump to be allowed to testify

but he has nothing to hide...

I'm sorry, did Giuliani just threated trump in a Guardian interview. He says he has 'insurance'..

Rudy Giuliani was asked by The Guardian if he worries that Donald Trump will “throw him under a bus.” Rudy’s response: “I’m not, but I do have very, very good insurance, so if he does, all my hospital bills will be paid.”

trump’s personal lawyer, has said he is confident the president will remain loyal to him as an impeachment inquiry unfolds in which the former New York mayor has become a central figure.

But Giuliani joked that he had good “insurance” in case trump did turn on him, amid speculation Republicans will seek to frame him as a rogue actor.

Giuliani’s lawyer, Robert Costello, who was also on the call, then interjected: “He’s joking.”

Giuliani seeing which way it's going and pushing for a pardon?

trumps revenge against McCabe (remember he sacked him 2 days before his retirement costing him a lot, then got Barr to announce he was going to be prosecuted), has rather backfired.

Barr let it be known that McCabe was being criminally indicted in relation to his handling of the Trump-Russia investigation.

McCabe had already filed a wrongful termination suit, so as this dragged on McCabe went to court and demanded that team trump either show proof he’s being indicted or admit that he’s been cleared. The judge in the case ended up giving team trump until today to either indict McCabe, or turn over all records in relation to its investigation into McCabe.

So DOJ (Barr) had to admit that there was no case against McCabe and are now trying to drop the whole thing rather than turn over their records showing that trump and Barr behaved improperly by targeting McCabe.

Basically it seems the judge isn't having any of it... He's not letting it go and that should also help McCabe in his wrongful dismissal case and provide further evidence of trumps spite and Barr's allegiance to follow his masters bidding.

I'm not normally one for pointing out spelling or grammar mistakes, doesn't bother me enough, but in this case I thought it might have been a joke that had gone over my head wink

I can understand the too many players and amount that's going on, don't know how you keep up with it all and connect everything together the way you do but it certainly makes things easier to follow, so keep up the good work! clap

trumps released his summary of his first phone call

https://edition.cnn.com/2019/11/15/politics/read-w...

Schiff responded to the Trump-Zelensky first call memo: "I would now ask the president to release the thousands of other records that he has instructed the State Department not to release, including Amb. Taylor's notes, including Amb. Taylor's cable, including George Kent's memo."

"Finally, I would say this Mr. President: I hope you explain to the country today why it was after this [first] call, and while the vice president was making plans to attend the inauguration, that you instructed the vice president not to attend Zelensky's inauguration."

Whoops....

trump then moved on to attack Marie Yovanovitch on Twitter as she testified in the impeachment hearings.

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

Everywhere Marie Yovanovitch went turned bad. She started off in Somalia, how did that go? Then fast forward to Ukraine, where the new Ukrainian President spoke unfavorably about her in my second phone call with him. It is a U.S. President’s absolute right to appoint ambassadors.

7:01 AM - 15 Nov 2019

Yovanovitch responds to Trump's tweet this morning attacking her: "I don't think I have such powers, not in Mogadishu, Somalia, and not in other places. I actually think that where I've served over the years, I and others have demonstrably made things better for the U.S."

Schiff responds to the new Trump tweet attacking Yovanovitch: "I want to let you know, Ambassador, that some of us here take witness intimidation very, very seriously."

Amb. Michael McFaul: "For trumpto go after her while she is testifying —and let's just be clear, completely crazy stuff ... When she was in Ukraine, things got better in Ukraine. And she was fighting corruption effectively ... I'm deeply disappointing in the president. It obviously underscores the president of the United States doesn't understand what diplomats do, doesn't understand what ambassadors do."

Schiff just been on MSNBC: "We saw today witness intimidation in real time by the president of the United States, once again going after this dedicated and respected career public servant ... We take this kind of witness intimidation and obstruction of inquiry very seriously."

Dems have got another good witness, Yovanovitch is ripping trumps bribery apart. No wonder he attacked her, that and he really doesn't like strong women.

Interesting strategy for Trump to be tweeting about the witness at the same time that Yovanovitch explained how she recoiled and the color drained from her face reading his words “She’s going to through some things” - which she perceived as "a threat." The US ambassador thought trump was threatening her, which lets face it he was
