45th President of the United States, Donald Trump (Vol. 7)
Discussion
Maybe AOC was referring to the original concentration camps, invented by us!
But if people don't want them referred to as concentration camps, then maybe stop making them like concentration camps! The semantics are less important than the abuse of kids and families, at least to any decent human being

A concentration camp is defined as:
[quote]a place in which large numbers of people, especially political prisoners or members of persecuted minorities, are deliberately imprisoned in a relatively small area with inadequate facilities
Deliberately imprisoned... Check.
Inadequate facilities... Check.
If it looks like a concentration camp, walks like a concentration camp and quacks like a concentration camp, chances are...
However I'm sure Fox & co will give it a nice name like "America Protection Center".

More lies, it was his administration that made it policy to separate the children, worked around the judges decision that said it was illegal, ignores any lawful timescales on detention periods, doesn't bother documenting where the children are sent after detention, all so that he can made the US look less attractive to those seeking a better life.
The majority detained and separated from their parents presented themselves legally at the border crossing points for asylum.

I see the President has denied responsibility for this sexual assault, foremost on the grounds that the woman was "not my type."
Presumably, this leaves the field wide open for women who are his type.
How does he not see that he shouldn't say stuff like this? Has he no respect for his wife?

Trump has lied about this topic again and again and again.
Once again we have an account corroborated by third parties who were told at the time.
Just what is the tipping point for his supporters? Thats 22 women now accusing him of behaviour that he admitted to on the Hollywood access tape.
There are now 77 members of the House of Representatives who favor starting an impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump. There are 76 Democrats — including 14 of the 24 Democrats who serve on the House Judiciary Committee — and one Republican.

As Jared Kushner's economic conference on Palestine kicks off today. Washington Post article looks at how some key elements of his "Opportunity of the Century" are actually old ideas that didn't work:
The Trump administration will kick off a summit on Tuesday aimed at raising $50 billion to spur economic development in the Palestinian territories, with proposals ranging from a transportation corridor cutting through Israel to solar-powered water treatment plants.
The 96-page economic blueprint released by the White House on Saturday claims to offer “the most ambitious and comprehensive international effort for the Palestinians to date” while the plan’s lead architect, Trump’s son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner, has called it the “Opportunity of the Century.”
But experts say some major components of the plan are not new and have failed in the absence of a mutually satisfying political agreement between the Israelis and Palestinians.

The new sanctions, which prohibit him from entering the United States or doing business with American financial institutions, will have almost no impact on the ayatollah.
Iran are laughing at the US sanctions...
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/24/world/middleeas...
Most startling to Iranians was Mr. Trump’s order to add sanctions that target Iran’s foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif. Mr. Zarif was educated in the United States and within the Iranian political system he is considered a moderate — the kind of figure hard-liners might seek to cast out and previous American administrations had sought to cultivate. As foreign minister, he would also be the main conduit for any negotiations with Tehran.
Thats definitely called off any opportunity of talks then

I made the mistake of looking in at Next US president thread.
It's worrisome that such blinkered people exist.
I've just had a look. It's frightening that people with view of that orange buffoon walk among us. In fact, I thought some of them must be trolling at first but it looks like they're being serious. It's worrisome that such blinkered people exist.

Ha! Seriously. What do you think!?What I should have said was, "Doesn't a man in his position think he ought to show a bit of respect for his wife?"
Rejecting a request from President Trump, a federal judge in Washington on Tuesday cleared the way for nearly 200 Democrats in Congress to continue their lawsuit against him alleging that his private business violates an anti-corruption provision of the Constitution.
U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan declined to put the case on hold and said lawmakers could begin this week seeking financial information, interviews and other records from the Trump Organization.

With the scandal of the children hitting the forefront, the Acting chief of the Customs and Border Protection agency, John Sanders, is expected to step down in the coming weeks.
The Customs and Border Protection agency’s acting commissioner, John Sanders, will step down in early July as the government’s primary border enforcement executive, a federal official said Tuesday, a development that comes as the agency faces continuing public fury over the treatment of detained migrant children.
The news of the resignation came shortly after agency officials disclosed that more than 100 children had been returned to a troubled Border Patrol station in Clint, Tex., a location where a group of lawyers who visited recently said hundreds of minor detainees had been housed for weeks without access to showers, clean clothing, or sufficient food.
