I absolutely do not trust Trump, but can he not say that Trump/Ivanka declined his business "offer"/ they grew apart etc, and so Steele then did this in revenge/ to get back at them? Purely saying this as I imagine it will be what Trump etc do.
And thus, the conspiracy was born.

Interesting bit in the report of how Putin bribed Fifa through Oligarchs to get the 2018 world cup

Putin acknowledged that a Russian oligarch
had bribed the President of FIFA so that Russia could win the right to host the
World Cup tournament in 2018

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York,
as of December 2019, the FIFA investigation has resulted in 26 individual guilty
pleas, 2 trial convictions, 4 corporate guilty pleas, and one corporate deferred
prosecution agreement. Total forfeitures in the matter exceed $120 million.

Now remember the team trump contacts with Oligarchs, how trump sold many overpriced properties...

As if trump has read the report...

@realDonaldTrump

I don’t know what report current Director of the FBI Christopher Wray was reading, but it sure wasn’t the one given to me. With that kind of attitude, he will never be able to fix the FBI, which is badly broken despite having some of the greatest men & women working there!

Facts don’t matter these days in politics. Just repeat a simple message full of lies enough and many will believe you.
QED. Boris.
Or Farage, for that matter.
It's all parties though. For example Labour/SNP etc are doing the same about the NHS. In reality both have been involved in privatising it to various degrees themselves, and although I'd suspect some Conservatives would like to completely get rid of the NHS they majority will know that is political suicide, and so it's not going to happen despite other parties saying it will. Farage does the EU/migrants line loads. Borris does the "evil other parties trying to block will of the people" when we don't know what type of Brexit the people voted for, so it may not be the case etc.

Trump is still way ahead of anyone else though with the selective "facts", ignoring experts, attacking justice system etc.

No way Fox was not already doing something like that - if they even acknowledge a link between Ivanka/Steele.

I guarantee the one Wray wrote didn't have lots of colourful pictures and language a Year 2 student could understand...

Wray will be fired shortly for not praising the Dear Leader or covering his arse enough

And what a way to insult your premier criminal investigation service, one respected around the world, for all the world to see.

He's as clueless as he is classless

Wray, and the IG for that matter, were Trump appointees IIRC.

So Trump has turned on his own hand picked men?

That's what he's been doing since he became President. He's consistent - if nothing else.

Trump would have read the Barr Statement which goes against the IG report.

I'd venture that Trump has read nothing - due to the fact that he doesn't (possibly can't) read. His reaction is most likely based on what has been explained to him or what he has learned through watching "Fox and Friends".

So on the day he's impeached, he's with a Russian.

Probably not the best idea?

I know the Dem's have gone for impeachment today, but why did they not get Bolton, Guiliani, Pompeo, and Mulvanney to testify.

These are key witnesses to the whole Ukraine scandal. I know they have been told not to testify by the White House but going through the courts should get them to share the information.

I'd imagine because the worthless turd would obstruct so endlessly that it might take months to get it all through the courts.

It's very sad the USA does not have two grown-up parties who can potentially work together for the sake of the country. This feckless cretin needs to be out on his arse before further damage is done.

The delay isn't worth it.
It would take too long for the courts to force these douches to testify.
And it also won't make a blind bit of difference.
No one appears to contest the facts.
There isn't a counter-hypothesis other than saying the call was "perfect".

Plus, if Senate Republicans aren't convinced now, some moron like Mulvaney ("deal with it") isn't going to swing them.

yes they are key witnesses - but the White house is preventing them taking part - thus the obstruction article...

Rick Gates is still ongoing.
In sentencing memo, he admits "he assisted Mr. Manafort in some of his criminal activity ... & engaged in unlawful conduct on a much smaller scale for his own benefit."

His cooperation was "part of his continuing effort to make amends." and of course he's asking for a sentence without prison time as he's spent 500+ hours with the special counsel's office and other prosecution offices.

https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/6571833-Ri...
Looks like prosecutors agree with Gates, sending messages to others?

Federal prosecutors on Tuesday backed a bid for former senior Trump campaign official Rick Gates to receive a sentence of probation for his crimes, citing his “extraordinary assistance” cases that led to convictions of other associates of President Donald Trump.

Prosecutors said they will not oppose Gates’ request for a non-prison sentence as long as the former Republican consultant and lobbyist continues to help them with investigations, according to a filing in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C.

Prosecutors noted that Gates, who is due to be sentenced Dec. 17, continued to cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller and investigators even after receiving “pressure not to cooperate ... including assurances of monetary assistance.”

https://www.cnbc.com/2019/12/10/prosecutors-back-p...

Pardons and payment of legal fees were touted to Manafort and Gates, yet none was forthcoming, in fact Gates dropped the team trump legal team, which is probably the difference between him and Manafort, why Manafort is in jail and suffered huge asset seizure

Lisa Page is suing the Justice Department and the FBI: Page filed a complaint against the DOJ and the FBI for alleged violations of the Privacy Act related to the disclosure of information about her to the media.

This was Dec 2017 when they released 375 text messages to the press, redacted and arranged to support trumps theory that the FBI were biased against him

trump met with Lavrov yesterday, giving him a second meeting when he hasn't given the President of Ukraine one, where he's 'so concerned about corruption'

White House says “President Trump warned Lavrov against any Russian attempts to interfere in United States elections”
Lavrov to reporters: “No, we haven't even discussed elections.”
https://www.latimes.com/politics/story/2019-12-10/...

'many people' have pointed out that when previously backed into a corner, trump had meetings with Putin, that sudden trip to Asia, the talks at the G7 etc, or meeting his representatives. On the day articles of impeachment landed, of trumps attempts to get further foreign interference into the election, trump schedules another meeting seeking instructions.
