You cannot be acquitted if you don’t have a trial. You don’t have a trial if you don’t have witnesses and documentation.
If Republican Senators choose a cover-up, the American people and history will judge it with the harshness it deserves.
I'm guessing Pelosi can hold a public House hearing and let John Bolton testify, or she can get go with new articles of impeachment, with even more evidence, maybe this time over the taxes and profiteering, or just gathering all the new evidence that came out, impeach trump twice.
Or maybe she can simply sit back while Bolton does the TV talk show circuit. Whats certain is that more and more evidence will now be dripped out leading to the election, showing just how corrupt the GOP and trump is.

All of NP&E is just people posting "media stories" prompting discussion. Exactly how this thread has been working for years and it has people like me who are a captive audience who see stories thanks to Byker that we wouldn't have otherwise seen or gone looking for.I trust the US system to deliver whatever end result it does (I genuinely don't have a care which way it goes). As the saying goes: everyone is entitled to their opinion. But for an opinion to have value, it should be based on reliable facts, and be the product of some critical analysis of those facts. No matter what the opinion is.

Of course it does. It generates discussion and debate. Most of the time it might result in a counter-argument but that odesn't tend to happen on here because it's exceptionally hard for anyone to be pro-Trump without coming across as a Loon. It's possible for a system to be deliberately manipulated or warped so that it delivers a result different to what was intended.
