At least now one of the key architects of this mess will have to own it.
Agreed.

That is the only possible shred of ‘good’ that can come from this.

The slippery bd led people into this mess, now he can have a go at sorting it out.

He won’t manage it successfully of course.

When it goes wrong we can roll it up and hang it round his neck.

But of course the brexiteers will still try to blame others for not BELIEVING enough, or not trying hard enough, such is the delusion now.
Well aren't you a happy soul smile

Let the faux outrage and smear campaign begin.....
There isn’t anything faux about my outrage.

Well, I say outrage, it’s more like disgust and sadness that this is where we have ended up as a nation.

Sold a fake dream by an absolute spiv of a snake oil salesmen who only cares about himself.

Staggeringly that salesman now becomes our PM.

This will be an unmitigated disaster for our country.

You can quote me on this and refer back to it in 12 months time.
I’m minded to agree.

There’s nothing faux about genuine concern.

I do wonder if “faux outrage” is one of those zeitgeist terms certain folk just cut and paste now without actually thinking about the meaning.

Looking forwards to him cancelling the Heathrow expansion, increasing 40% threashold to 80k and sticking 20,000 coppers on the beat which he promised along with a myriad of other things - must all be achievable this year...

I would call it an example of the Peter Principle, only in this case Boris has been promoted to a position approximately four levels higher than his degree of competence.

RIP UK.

Except she won't rest until Boris is kicked out along with his 92k geriatric white middle upper class buffoons have been as well.

On the upside it shouldn't take too long.

Boris's political end has finally started to come into view. smile
What the hell has "white" got to do with it ?
Conservatives inclusive? What planet are you on?

I was about to say that I was looking forward to reading all the tantrums and meltdowns on facebook, don't really need it as there are a few on here already.

As always, things will be fine, the world will not end, the sky will not fall.

Yes, there are plenty of buffoons of colour behind him too. His vaudeville appeal is wide-ranging.

We look forward to working constructively w/ PM @BorisJohnson when he takes office, to facilitate the ratification of the Withdrawal Agreement and achieve an orderly #Brexit. We are ready also to rework the agreed Declaration on a new partnership in line with #EUCO guidelines.
Yeh, bet he does.

He is not PM yet and I am not certain that he will be

He most probably will, but he has to convince Queenie that he can command a majority in the commons

Between now and when he goes to the palace to see her about that, a lot could happen

That rambling speech he gave today will not have done much to convince doubters that they should support him

I don't believe he is as dumb as his persona makes out but you really think he got that place on merit, do you? Hardly, the gifted kid from the council estate is he.

My 7 year old son was with my parents a year or so ago, Boris popped up doing door to doors in Essex, so my Dad walked up to him asked for a photo with my son with him - he didnt seem that interested but his aide pushed him back towards them in the process he trod on an ice cream cone in his perfectly polished Oxfords and at that point my dad said 'put your foot in it again then Boris' as a joke and he got quite how would you put it, narked. Anyway they got the photo but of him smiling away but general outcome was he is a self centred muppet - this PM'ship is all about his ego and nothing more.
