Not professionally offended.
Just amazed that such tripe is published under the publications name.
Nasty.

Any chance the DM will be getting sued like the Mirror and bankrupted? We'd all be better off if Rothermere was obliged to give up running a poisonous strag and had to make do with just being a hobby farmer in France.

Lol at the outrage on here. OK I'm a bottle and a half of wine in, but fking hell people get a grip. It's no worse than you'd see on Spitting Image.

We all know the Daily Mail don’t employ any journalists anyway. It’s just content creation. Reading it for news is like considering Eastenders a documentary.

The real weirdness is the obsession with Harry and Megan.

Just checking - as it's one of the most widely read news sources in the country, is it all like you'd see on spitting image? Or just this article?

It’s just a standard satire article. It appears to be just a DM equivalent of the “My Week (according to Quentin Letts)” series in The Times.
It helps even more if you don’t read the DM smile

It's helpful for the Mail as it means that even if they don't have any new horrible stories they can print about Harry and Meghan they can just invent some stuff.

“Just a standard satire article”, that would presumably need some kind of skill in comedy writing?

This is just someone doing a Family Guy flashback with “woke” stereotypes.

Some ppl may find it funny. Some ppl may not.
Again, my last line remains the most appropriate: don’t read the DM.

I quite enjoy some of the articles in the DM. S Vine is quite amusing, as is the parliamentary commentary. Some good historical stuff as well. It does seem to go on a bit about H+M though... but then Royal content of every kind is a big deal to the DM. You can be sure on every Royal occasion they will have the biggest free extra photos and coverage. A bit like the BBC.

I’m always amazed how many people on PH quote stories in the Mail and then slag it off suggesting it’s for the great unwashed with an IQ in single figures.

The irony is lost I guess…..

They'd be masturbating furiously if the same whatever-the-fk-that-is was written about Boris Johnson, that guy who had his bank account closed, Piers Morgan or their ilk.....

Sadly it all depends on who is the target. Same phenomenon as those who cry out at the merest whisper or suggestion of any question regarding acceptance of different culture, identity, or any band wagon they can leap on to show how liberal or enlightened they are, or as you say to have a poke at a Grrrr X target, oh but Jews, now that's different apparently, and then the venom is really deployed.
