He won't break free from her
More she will drop him once he is no longer useful.
She has tremendous form for this.
What's not clear is who she can move on to after a prince. Some russian oligarch or greek shipping billionaire probably.

&

Agree 100%.
She's got the kid (think human cheque book) & is already setting up plans for a healthy income to ensure independence & a return from whence she came amidst those she has more in common with, her 'find a rich thick twit to mug' campaign completed.
I now fear for Harry. He's already looking & sounding vulnerable & heading for a mental breakdown acerbated when he realises he's surplus to requirements & been had. Limited access to his kid may be the final straw & he may well end up needing full time mental care by which time the marriage will have been dissolved & Meghan can move on to the next stage in with her master plan as per the suggestion above.
She deserves an Oscar for her acting & no doubt her 'story' will make her millions - I see a film coming.

This thread is comedy gold. Not only do people know what Harry/Meghan/the Queen/everybody is currently thinking, but can project this forward into guaranteed outcomes for all involved.

Who really knows ?

But, I think most people can see it’s a clusterfk waiting to happen

It will be a slow motion train wreck in the full glow of the world’s media

But if you'd been following the frothing since she first turned up it's basically going exactly how the frothers predicted so far.

She should've given the royal adventure a miss and remained glossy back home. This outcome is consistent with her character. That doesn't make her character an automatically bad one, just a totally incompatible one with the stoic royal grind.

Which will only screw up Harry's mental state even more.

Some will remember the Michael Hutchence, Bob Geldof, Paula Yates shambles which seemed to go on for ever - until two of them wound up dead and all the kids with Geldof. It kicked off big-time when Yates thought it might be a good idea to take Geldof's kids to Australia. UK courts were having none of it. So Harry's on the back foot with junior already overseas.

Once Meghan's settled back in the US spotlight (she's from busy, warm LA; she's currently on cold and empty Vancouver Island) I can't imagine Harry's kids will ever be seen in UK again. A one-way ticket for Harry to be jerked around for the rest of his days.

In Ernest strip out the royal bit, we’ve all seen a mate used and abused by a toxic partner haven’t we, where there was no prospect of a happy ending. it’s the same situation but amplified by royalty and media.

Misogyny seems to be alive and well on NP&E

But she has divorced other men.

Apparently that means something confused
