It's interesting to see Meghan pop up in this story. Perhaps they met during an early stage of her ongoing intensive social climbing campaign. Given his potential wealth at the time I suspect she would have been very keen to sit on him.

He's also got pictures of himself with Beyonce and Simon Cowell. Could it be that rather than her chasing him it was the other way around?

He should really give all the cash and privilege back. Including presumably his wife, who he can't seriously think he'd be with if he hadn't been born into such ill-gotten privilege?
Hasn't he effectively given up a nice income from the Civil List by "resigning"?

Also if his wife is with him because of his "privilege" wouldnt she rather stay in London and be one of the Royal family rather than moving to North America?

They're both "Damned if they do, damned if they don't".

The one of Simon Cowell was amusing - if ever anyone had a look of "who the hell are you and will you please get your hand off me"...

Taught him in officer training and then in the field somewhere flying lynx I believe at one point yes. Sorry if I wasn't precise enough for you!
Sounds a bit whiffy to me.
Remarkable coincidence that his platoon commander at Sandhurst then popped up again as a QFI.
Not unheard of, just....unlikely.

I find your posts on MM in this thread most interesting. I've gone back around six months and you're pretty consistent in your musings

Looking forward to your next installment smile

Harry has never received money from the civil list (or the crown estate as it is now) as far as I know.

His money comes from the Dutchy of Cornwall (ie Charles income).

I stand corrected. I wonder if Charles's has reduced his allowance...

It looks like your favourite couple have been duped: https://www.news.com.au/world/north-america/althea...

"Meghan Markle made a personal phone call to a young woman after seeing her harrowing story – but now there’s been an awkward development."

You do your aptitude and flying grading tests at Sandhurst, agreed, but only after passing out do you begin formal training.

And I’m not aware of any helicopter training at Sandhurst.

Maybe flying your chopper has a different meaning at Sandhurst.

Charles just bought them their new pad in California, so I don't think so

Tabloids reporting that staff at Windsor have been told to prepare Frogmore for (just) Harry's arrival. So guessing he has some event in the UK to attend.

Liz is at Windsor so will no doubt have a word about US politics.

Actually, I wonder if the penny has dropped that spending more than half a year in the US in any three year period opens him to taxation on his world-wide income (including all that dosh that the PoW has chucked his way). And without Royal status to shield behind, I doubt that he qualifies for a diplomatic or sovereign exemption.

Granted, Harry himself was never in danger of troubling the All Souls Prize Fellowship Committee, but I'd guess if he's listening to them, his advisers have might clocked that one...

More likely someone finally got into his thick head just how much tax was going to be due if he stayed in the US any longer.

(Edit - beaten to it)

Rumour has it he’s been told he’s going to have to pay £11million pretty soon.

I expect he’d rather move somewhere else.

But surely he doesn’t have a problem with paying tax, does he?

No, that can’t be it.

Please, please let that be it.

According to Markle......

“ The Duchess told the podcast that she was the most trolled person in the world in 2019.”

More than Trump? Or Greta?

Legend in her own mind I suspect...
