Back in the news today courting sympathy
I must say for someone apparently seeking privacy she does seem to talk to the press about very private matters quite a lot
Yep, doesn’t want any press coverage unless it’s on their own terms. Hypocrisy of the highest order
I think it's been obvious for a long time... but the bullst about being hounded out by the tabloids and wanting privacy was just that, other than being yet another excuse to get herself in the tabloids.

It's a bit more than that. It's most likely a deflection from the negative press. Maybe they'll leave us alone for a while........
Watching the Crown (excellent btw) it pulls no punches so to have these two working with the enemy is a real punch in the balls. Can't believe i'm saying it, I feel sorry for his family having to endure this level of betrayal. And here she is whinging about her father et al leaking 'lies'

I seem to remember them preaching that they were only having one child due to climate change?

Sad if she has had a miscarriage, however I don’t see why they’re screeching for privacy one minute and then revealing something like this the next.

Probably because there's a difference between speaking about something on your own terms v the press deciding they own every bit of your life.

It seems they're hoping that speaking about this might encourage other people to do so when previous it's perhaps been a bit of a taboo.

I knew this thread was pretty disgusting but had gone a bit quiet lately.

Serves me right for opening it up today and expecting any better I guess.

This is a good article highlighting exactly what you are saying.

This Harry/Meghan thing is something I probably know more about than most and perhaps I'll post about it when I have time/can be arsed. Suffice to say, the vast majority of stuff about her in the press concerning matters of importance, has been pretty much bang on the nail.

I'm sure people who experience it, do talk about it-to their family and close friends. It's not taboo.

Are'nt many of them in the media? What he says though in this case is illuminating, and from what I have heard accurate.

They do. It was taboo 50 years ago, where some people seem keen to remain.

I think you are being far to generous to them and a little sanctimonious with it.

Nice to see the Markles are still doing a stand up job of of withdrawing from the spotlight and living their lives in privacy and seclusion...

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry 'to launch own awards rivalling Queen's honours list'

Even the papers are now putting Megahn's name in from of Harry's biggrin

Kinda funny how every time there's any kind of Royal family announcement a day or so later there's something inbound from there. Very obvious and very childish.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are touring the UK by train to thank people for their efforts during Covid.

24 hours later we get this.

  • regarding animal agriculture. Factory farms are every bit as much a breeding ground for disease as wet markets. See BSE, swine flu and avian flu.
