Not like he can pack it in and get a job in Boots.
I don't suppose he would get a job in Boots. Not like he can pack it in and get a job in Boots.
Assistant: "Do you have an Advantage card?"
Harry: "Yes, I'm the Queen's grandson"

That's an accident of birth. It's not something anybody awarded him on condition of him behaving in a certain way. And quite frankly he can dine off it as much as he wants - it is literally zero skin off my (or anybidy else's) nose. Are people jealous/resentful of the fact that he's "dining off" being a Prince?
The title comes by birth, though even that's optional.Everything else comes with tradeoffs, and if he doesn't like it he's free at any time to renounce his titles and place in line to the throne. But he won't. As it is he's traded not having to do the 'work' part against not having any of the nice courtesy roles, and he's bhing about that.
That is the problem people have with the pair - they moan and are hypocritical even when people have bent over backwards to accommodate them. Economical with the truth too.
I wish they would go away and I wouldn't have to hear about them but there's too much PR seeded for that to happen, at least for now.

Why should he renounce his title?Everything else comes with tradeoffs, and if he doesn't like it he's free at any time to renounce his titles and place in line to the throne. But he won't. How have people "bent over backwards to accommodate them"?
It's easy not to hear about them. Eg by not posting on a thread titled "Harry and Meghan"

Well, we kind of do. It's pretty much inescapable.
I don't have live TV, don't read newspapers and use social media sparingly but I've been unable to escape the tone-deaf whining of this incredibly privileged couple for months now.
You're fking joking, right? This thread is by far the most I've seen written about them for months if not years.I don't have live TV, don't read newspapers and use social media sparingly but I've been unable to escape the tone-deaf whining of this incredibly privileged couple for months now.
The endless whining from people apparently unable to escape the endless whining would be comical if it weren't so incredibly annoying.
H&M certainly do have effective PR people.
As an aside, I'd suggest that the most vocal people on this thread are the people whining about the people whining about being unable to escape from the endless whining. Maybe you should take your own advice and stop getting so wound up by strangers on the internet with a different opinion to yours.....

I'm not the one posting on a thread called "Harry and Meghan" complaining that I can't get away from Harry and Meghan.Piersman2 said:

Hopefully it won't go that way, but it's looking like a pretty good 50/50 bet at the moment.
I presume you're basing this on your deep personal relationship with the pair of them?Halmyre said:

If his Mum had worn her seat belt, it is extremely unlikely that she would have been dead. So who's fault was that?

Arguably it wasn't the lack of a seatbelt that killed her, it was the blunt force trauma to various organs in her body caused by the Mercedes hitting the central reservation. However several things happened leading up to that specific event which all contributed.

I still remember Harry walking with no adult support looking totally lost. His brother being a few years older seemed to cope but Harry looked abandoned. He desperately needed an adult to support him and they let him down. I think Charles failed to support his kids on this day.

If you're the most photographed woman in the world, and you hate it, and you've a new boyfriend with unlimited funds, and you're absolutely desperate not to be photographed, then what on earth are you doing in downtown Paris on a Saturday night?
The old golden rule applies, as usual:
Don't listen to what they say. Just watch what they do.
Harry and Meghan want to live a quiet, private life, out of the way of the press. That's what they say. What do they do?
