When you look at the word "gammon" on the OED it just gives you a link to this site.

And what's wrong with that? Forget that you hate them, and just focus on what you've said. They've given their daughter her great grandmother's affectionate nickname as her first name, and her deceased grandmother's name as her middle name. Even if, as you clearly think, they are terrible people, this is a nice thing.

Indeed. And in 5 years......."bloody Harry & Meghan, even their daughter's name is as common as muck. They couldn't even come up with something original for their own kid's name furious "

It came from people going red from high blood pressure. I guess you knew that though.

Yep, just checking we're all still ok with using this racial slur.

Ah the old Strawgam argument

I'm not really a fan of the circus around their step back from public life as Royals to the public eye of Hollywood, and some of the strange claims they made such as the refence to someone's comment on Archie's skin colour, and her grievance about being left to fend for herself on matters of Royal etiquette with only the assistance of one of the queen's own aides but the names are nice.

Ah you mean sports stars marathon runners , overweight people trying to lose weight or a frantic bit of bedroom loving.

Oh actually are you trying to mean old grumpy white British people!

Having said unto us that they were only going to have one sprog to save the planet, if they shell out a third, the great unwashed may finally start to feel a degree of unease with these idiots.

Sadly we're not going to be rid of them for decades.

Still find Tony B Liar more irritating though.

He really doesn't get it.

John Major can fro as well.

I do find it hilarious...

Their baby was born last week but they waited until the 77th anniversary of D-Day to announce it... couldn't get any tackier.

Then there is more... So it's meant as a tribute to the HEAD of the 'EVIL EMPIRE' that they BARELY ESCAPED with their lives? Because that's what they actually claimed, however, I cant see this other than the bankability of the names they choose.

I guess with Lilibet, it actually means they have now taken that precious family nickname away from the Queen that PP and her father called her, think PP called her cabbage too, but that obviously wasn't good enough.

Baby was born on Friday, and they announced is after the weekend, on the Monday. That's all. Nothing to see here. Unless you have a completely irrational hatred and are determined to find fault in everything they do. .

They did? I don't recall those actual words. Care to point me in the direction where they actually claimed the Queen was head of an evil empire and they barely escaped with their lives.

Yes, that's exactly what they've done rofl When a younger member of the family gives their newborn your name, it's been taken from you for ever rolleyes

Has it occurred to you that the Queen might be delighted and very touched about the new baby being named Lilibet. I have no idea if she is or not, but surely it's a possibility?

As an aside, have you considered anger management classes?
