Exactly. I don't think it's remotely impolite not to have asked (although it now appears they did). We don't know the Queen's views on it. We can only guess. And I'm guessing she's delighted. And if she isn't, that's says more about her than them.
It's obvious why they've done it.Pugaris said:
So what? When my sister chose my name as her son's middle name she didn't seek my permission and I was delighted and honoured.
Whatever they do there's a subset on here that literally hate them. It's odd really.
Not a peep about Harry announcing the next Invictus Games are going to be held in Germany.

So we aren't allowed an opinion?
Or we aren't allowed to express an opinion?
Just wanted to be clear.
Would you accept their opinion of your right to name your child?Or we aren't allowed to express an opinion?
Just wanted to be clear.
Disclaimer: I'm not a royalist. They can make their own choice, as can you or I.
They can name their child what they like, but as they are in the public eye (or not for that matter) I'm assuming most contributors to this thread opine predicated on the idea that they are allowed to opine. Whether Mr and Mrs Markle accept it or not.
