I don't know how many of his connections may be tenuous but The Times has a diagram connecting (read implicating, via the people he managed money for and advised, his friends, and lawyers) all sorts of people all over the world. Ehud Barak says he wishes he'd never met him and I'm sure it's not just the victims who feel that way. He was sourcing Saudi funding for Elon Musk so he'll be another. Bit easy to view everyone as part of the ring but when you're pictured with an alleged victim that's not a great look. I must have missed it at the time but the press have already had a field day on this photographing people going in and out of Epstein's flat, where girls where also seen visiting.
So yeah the potential scale is massive hence the conspiracy theories.

The NY Times are reporting that Epstein was found dead in his cell, he wasn't alive when taken to hospital.
Also that the two guards were sleeping through their shift and falsified records they checked on him every 30 mins

Mr. Nadler and Mr. Collins demanded that the Bureau of Prisons hand over by Aug. 21 any details about Mr. Epstein’s mental health evaluations and his housing, as well as the bureau’s protocols for handling inmates considered at risk of suicide.
They also requested to be told how Mr. Epstein was being monitored and what the surveillance cameras may have recorded in or near Mr. Epstein’s cell.

Regarding sleeping on the job - I’ve noticed before at American airports how often the TSA (security) people work crazy long hours to the point of thinking how effective can they really be. If the prison guards are in a similar position I can imagine it would be quite easy to nod off if things were quiet.

I am not going to trawl through that thread as it doesn't interest me and if you have not noticed it first time arount it just shiws you are happy for rumours and sourious alegations to confirm your prejudice.
