Epstein dead in cell
Discussion
Epstein, 66, was found with the sheet wrapped around his neck and secured to the top of a bunk bed, the New York Post reported Monday. He kneeled toward the floor and used the noose to strangle himself,

There's probably more in the who gave Epstein the ability to do it, who enabled the suicide. Taking out the cell mate, Epstein off suicide watch, perhaps rota in guards known for sleeping on the job, or maybe there was a window of opportunity and Epstein took it? He tried once.
There's probably more in the reported staff shortages etc resulting in a larger window than usual for him to kill himself. Some of the reports coming out, including in the Fox article you linked above, are starting to suggest that's the route it's going.
Of course, as Lentilist says, someone people will dismiss an outcome they don't want to hear.
The suicide cells have two cameras, but it could be he was moved out to a different cell when taken off suicide watch
Then the corridors etc also have cameras, which will have recordings, but then there will be nothing to see, but I bet thats where they found the guards didn't do the 30 min checks

I guess friends and family around the world are annoyed at the constant phone calls trying to track her down.

Eating at an In-and-Out Burger. Ghislaine Maxwell? At a burger joint. Outdoors for every passer-by to spot. Staged photo? Wonder if she had to eat a lot of fast-food before getting spotted...

Convenient.Could the lawyers end up taking whoever to court and getting more money that can be squirrelled away into whatever funds are now in someone else hands?
Not sure that was the best way to word it but by some bizarre twist does his estate benefit from this. Not sure how that is relevant.

Reading it is making it tricky to follow what is left and where it came from? Maybe a more legal mind can pick the bones out but one comment in that it cannot be finalised until people taking it to court have finished?

Hang on, what happened to Barr's leaks , sorry DOJ reporting, that Epsteins lawyers got him off suicide watch. Now the DOJ have told congress that he had been taken off suicide watch by a doctoral-level psychologist

I would be interested in why his suicide watch was cancelled after just two weeks, when huge damaging revelations were coming out in court especially the day before, and why the camera malfunctioned and wasn't checked/noticed.
Who authorised the violation of jail procedures?
Is this all fact? Who authorised the violation of jail procedures?

o the 'alleged camera malfunction' is a bloke on Twitter stating it without citing any source.
It's amazing how quickly such a poor source turns into fact and how so many people lack basic critical thinking skills to judge it correctly.

At least one camera stationed in the hallway outside billionaire financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s prison cell, where officials say he hanged himself earlier this month, had footage that was deemed unusable, The Washington Post reports.
While one hallway camera had unusable footage, another nearby camera caught clearer video, the Post noted, adding that it is unknown why certain footage was useable while some was not, as well as the extent of the glitch.

At least one camera in the hallway outside the cell where authorities say registered sex offender Jeffrey Epstein hanged himself earlier this month had footage that is unusable, although other, clearer footage was captured in the area, according to three people briefed on the evidence gathered earlier this month.
It was not immediately clear why some video footage outside Epstein’s cell is too flawed for investigators to use or what is visible in the usable footage. The incident is being investigated by the FBI and the Justice Department’s inspector general’s office, which are attempting to determine what happened and how to assess whether any policies were violated or crimes committed.
The footage is considered critical to those inquiries, and the revelation of an unusable recording is yet another of the apparent failures inside the Metropolitan Correctional Center, the short-staffed Bureau of Prisons facility in downtown Manhattan that held Epstein.
