Is she really blaming a glass ceiling? No Jo, just no.
Somebody tell her that we've already had 2 women as Prime Minister. And more female cabinet ministers than anybody can count.
A couple of years ago aolmost every political party in the UK was headed up by a woman.
Conservarives
Scottish Conservatives
SNP
Sinn Feinh
DUP
Greens
Plaid Cymru
Even UKIP for a while

I understand people may disagree with her policies and/or politics, but is it really necessary to make comments about her physical appearance, her teeth, her dress sense?
Every PH'er is a model of physical perfection. Most look like a young Brad Pitt/ George Clooney/ Adonis himself. Every PH'er is the height of fashion. No PH'er was ever a middle aged fat bloke with dodgy dress sense who works in IT.
Standards must be maintained. Anything less than an 8/10 on the beauty scale is fair game on here.
PS. I would. I've had worse.
I've also had better ( for the avoidance of doubt ) but I don't think Jo is a munter as the PH massive would have you believe.

Revoke A50 seems to have been a mistake as was making it all about Swinson. Another contributing factor not mentioned has to be their stance on Trans rights when they refused to acknowledge that there was an issue balancing this with the rights of women. May not have gone down to well with exactly the sort of middle class women they were hoping to get vote for Swinson.
DefinitelyInterestingly enough, if you see the threads about Swinson on Mumsnet, they don't like her at all. The whole gender identity thing didn't go down well. They actually consider her somewhat of a misogynist.

Or was this just Sturgeon being very happy that her SNP candidate [also a woman] won?
I suppose you could interpret it either way.
Did she react that way to every SNP win?I suppose you could interpret it either way.

I suspect not. Shouldn’t be surprised really, undignified reaction from a narrow minded politician from a one policy party.
In the paper today -
"Has a party ever fought an election on such an unappealing platform?. Probably not. But then it is doubtful whether a major party has ever produced such a pitifully unqualified leader - and I don't exclude Jeremy Corbyn. Some pundits have compared Jo Swinson to an overbearing headmistress. Actually, she is more like a bossy and supercilious head prefect with a maddening sense of her own importance."

Honestly I think it was a pretty human reaction and I don't say that as a fan of Nicola Sturgeon.I suspect not. Shouldn’t be surprised really, undignified reaction from a narrow minded politician from a one policy party.
I think the media has been rather disingenuous to present it as Sturgeon's reaction to Swinson losing her seat where it could just as well be presented as her reaction to the SNP winning a hotly contested seat.

Nobody seems to be talking about Swinson's replacement, so here goes.
One of the against the tide results has not got much airplay either.
I can't stand the woman, but my money 'would' be again on her...
Interim, Sir Ed Davey and Baroness Sal Brinton are standing in for Swinson before a new leader is picked in the coming weeks.
You read it here first.
Last time this MP scraped home with a win of just a measly 800 votes.
She's been their rising star and has already appeared here there and everywhere even on the tv, like QT.
She was nominated to become Leader last time and would have beat Swinson, had it not been found out she'd been arrested for with her boyfriend.
So she stood down.
Friday morning it was revealed she didn't just win again, she took 31,340 votes!.
Her majority this time jumped massively from last time's 800 to a whopping 9,000!!!!
Just keep away from Oxford West & Abingdon, they bucked the trend as many of them are all crackers! Brexit still must be stopped.
Just so you know, so you can recognise the next Lib-Dum Leader pic below. Many of you might already have seen her.
My money is not on it, as I won't win much.
Last time she was 5/2 against Chukitin, Berger etc ...but they're (thankfully) all history now. This will be a one-horse-race.

You honestly think that’s real? I suspect that was her reaction to someone in her party winning a seat. Happy to be proved wrong because I can’t stand the woman.
