Well, no one really knows in advance, so its likely BS. What is correct, is that regardless of a polling lead of 10%; Boris coudld still lose / come in hung if the marginals don't go the right way. There are 90 of those, so it IS harder to tell than Boy Georges gender (back in the 80's anyway).
It's not entirely BS on the postals I think. Remember it was the postals which made some people reckon Leave were in with a chance of winning in 2016. It's just that the figures I've heard from a couple of places are out of line with what you might expect but they've been checked and seem right. So who knows.
Given that, and also the fact that anyone leaking information is in serious trouble, I suspect that this is BS. Who is going to risk a jail sentence by reporting a trend on the internet.

Corbyn just now supporting his shadow health minister and attacking Guido Fawkes for and I quote 'tapping into a private bit of banter' Brilliant.
At least it answers the question of what he would do... Nothing... how anybody could even consider voting for him or his party is a complete mystery.
Agreed, how sane people will vote for this bloke hoping he will be the Prime Minister of the U.K. beggars belief. Nothing more than a dangerous fence sitter who would undoubtedly be at the helm ruining the Country with two years. Do his supporters want this?At least it answers the question of what he would do... Nothing... how anybody could even consider voting for him or his party is a complete mystery.

I think the revelation was that a Labour MP campaigning to put Corbyn in No 10 thought he was a security risk.....
the public aren't bothered so much about that but the boy on the floor has made a big impact and I wouldn't be surprised if the cons will take a huge hit from it, people are very emotional about these kinds of thingsThe public don't care about the fact that one of our potential PMs would be considered a security risk to the nation but care passionately about a picture of a boy on the floor, without much clarity about what said picture reveals.
The saying goes that no one ever went poor underestimating the public, but I would rather hope that the average British voter is rather more switched on than that.

I have one regret about Theresa May resigning the leadership - we no longer have Lord Buckethead in Maidenhead. If she had still been leader, we’d have pitched to run his campaign from the local pub. With sufficient cunning, I suspect we could have put Labour into 4th place....https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/nationa...

Lunchtime news carried details of a poll in Wales which, if reflected in the voting on Thursday, could see 8 seats change from red to blue. The link below says the same thing. The news on lunchtime TV mentioned constituency polling.

And if he's a good constituency MP who represents your values I would encourage you to do so.
He's apologised I just thought it was funny, election, cameras and social media everywhere, hey let's park my Land Rover across two disabled parking spaces!
The lack of thinking, from all of these people, is fking depressing. He's apologised I just thought it was funny, election, cameras and social media everywhere, hey let's park my Land Rover across two disabled parking spaces!

Conservative have already lost a lot of City seats, Lib-un-Dems and the Marxists are fighting that, the swings towards the Conservatives in the rest of the England will be astonishing.https://www.itv.com/news/wales/2019-12-09/new-poll...
God knows what will happen in Northern Ireland and Scotland however.

Honestly it's been a very strange 24 hours.
You have Johnson refusing to look at a sick child and pocketing a journalists phone on camera and the Conservatives and his defenders spinning that it's all a Labour plot.
You have Ashworth recorded absolutely slating his boss and Labour and his defenders spinning that it's all a Conservative plot.
The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command leaps to mind.
That quote could not be more appropriate right now You have Johnson refusing to look at a sick child and pocketing a journalists phone on camera and the Conservatives and his defenders spinning that it's all a Labour plot.

Same poll and the professor from the university site.

I live in Alyn and Deeside, one of the constituencies listed as being due to change colour.https://www.itv.com/news/wales/2019-12-09/new-poll...
The sitting MP is a Remainer who has consistently voted against Brexit in Parliament. (Flintshire, which contains the constituency voted to leave 56% vs 44%.)
There is an underlying discontent with Labour both at a national (Welsh) and local level. The local NHS trust has been in special measures for the last 4 1/2 years, with no sign of improvement.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Conservative candidate win.

Twitter is going mental because BoJo has written a book referencing Jewish stereotypes.
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/bor...
Except it's a novel.
https://www.theguardian.com/books/2019/jul/17/bori...
"A hostage thriller in which an ambulance plays the role of the wooden horse the Greeks built to fool the Trojans, Seventy-Two Virgins is structurally audacious. Its 336 pages cover just three and a half hours in Westminster, during which a terrorist group of suicide bombers, whom the narrative voice calls “Islamofascists”, targets the visiting US president, as he gives a speech in Westminster Hall."
"But there are comic riffs on the promise to jihadists of a posthumous reward orgy that gives Seventy-Two Virgins its title"
The Guardian's critique of the slurs was milder at a less politically leveraged time 6 months ago. But even they take issue with something that is deservedly widely mocked, most notably and hilariously in the film Four Lions. Except that's written by their one of their own, Chris Morris.

Quite a difference between a thriller using those stereotypes (no matter how bad) and a farce mocking them.https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/bor...

As the 12th approaches all the parties, and the media, will be jumping up and down ever higher, like frogs on a hotplate with the control being swiftly turned up to 11. As long as everyone realizes this, all will be well.
