Your anecdotes are as creditworthy as anyone else's anecdote.

The problem with your anecdote/s are is that they are normally laced with insults from three years ago that Leave voters were/are racist xenophobes.

Perhaps try something a little more original (throw 'gammon' in, not seen it for 2 weeks), the reaction might be the same but at least you'll have put some effort in.
TBF, I threw that in about 7 or 8 posts back hehe

Out of interest, has any single, solitary person changed their mind as a result of this thread?

Changing your mind as a consequence of Brexit, or May or some other previous large event doesn't count. I'm asking if anyone has read an argument on here that has changed their opinion?
I was going to tactical vote but now think I'll just vote for who I would want regardless of the fact they've git no chance.

That decision in part has come about from the spoiled ballot talk on here and ultimately how petty and futile that seems.

Corbyn and Sturgeon in charge. Scotland independent. We are all Turkeys at Christmas.

Well I'm glad to see you're all having fun going voting whilst us in Lyndsey Hoyle land have the choice of him, a bloke who has changed his surname to brexit and some salad muncher.
I went to the extent of arranging a proxy (the only one in the village), as I’m away fro the foreseeable to vote for The Speaker as I reckon Mr Brexit might attract a lot of protest votes from the 23500 Tory voters and 30000 Labour voters. I’m intrigued whether apathy around the so-called uncontested seat may make this very close.

You have to remember that last time, with the horrendous campaign May ran, with the disaster that was their Brexit negotiations, with the total dogst cabinet ministers, with the Corbynmania, Jeremy at Glastonbury, "whooooah Jeremy Corrrrrbyn", the student vote being mobilised for Labour - with all that - Labour still couldn't win.

Now factor in the Lib Dems splitting the Labour vote, Corbyn's shine disappearing and the Boris bounce (whatever you think of him, he appeals to voters like May never could).

If the Conservatives win a small majority then I'll be planning to take on a couple of extra employees in the first quarter. If you're horrible feeling is correct then I'll be battening down the hatches!

I wonder if the weather will come into play, peeing it down all day.
It could stop the younger Labour voters from getting out of bed.
But equally could stop the coffin dodger Tories from going out, in case they get a chill wink
Not around here it won't.

Myself and a neighbour are running those who need a lift to the PS, I've taken 4 people already today.

I hadn't though of it in those terms. There was also the significant UKIP vote which, for both them and TBP will be mostly diverted in the direction of the Conservatives.

Also seen a lot more people appear to "wise up" to what Corbyn and his cabinet actually represent.

You should ring the Daily Mail and let them know. It’ll be headline news.

And they're probably more likely to postal vote. How many under 25's have ever even bought a stamp? Maybe you don't even need one for a postal vote?

I think he'll get the Labour vote out and the tory vote will simply not bother. I literally live across from my polling station and I can't be bothered to even spoil my ballot paper.

I'd forgotten how social media popular he was in 2016, it was like some sort of messiah. Haven't seen any of that this time round.

Last time May could get a coalition with the DUP. This time around absolutely no party is going to jump in to bed with Boris.

Haha nice, except I think you find that a large proportion of Conservative voters are retired.

Out of all my friends the ones doing well for themselves, running successful businesses, the lawyers, the doctors, the highly educated, the most read and informed etc. are all, without exception voting for Pro-EU parties.

Those people I know that are not doing so well, (the less open minded you could argue), the ones who haven't traveled extensively (and by travel I don't mean a cheap week getting pissed in the Costa del Sol), and the pensioners, who are scared about a lot of stuff, are the ones tending to vote for parties with a Brexity message.

Similarly those idiots who complain about foreigners taking their jobs are tending to vote for Brexity parties this time around. In the past they'd have probably voted Labour, but such is the PR machine success of the Tory party that they have now convinced Turkeys to vote for Christmas. If you're worried about a foreigner taking your job then it's not the EU's fault - it's probably just that you're st at your job.
It's always nice to read a well thought through, even handed and objective post that doesn't make nasty generalisations. Shame that's not one of them.

Why take people on when the economy is about to tank? Remember that Boris' deal is worse than May's deal, it's that bad. Plus we have at least another year, more likely 5 years of brexit uncertainty if the Tories get him.

Madness.
