An easy Photoshop. I could edit that photo in 5 mins. If you believe what you read in the Mail then you're gullible in the extreme.
Good job you didn't put any money on it rofl

Maybe I'm worrying unduly, but I'm starting to get a horrible feeling that our next government is going to be a Labour / SNP coalition.

I really hope I'm wrong.
You have to remember that last time, with the horrendous campaign May ran, with the disaster that was their Brexit negotiations, with the total dogst cabinet ministers, with the Corbynmania, Jeremy at Glastonbury, "whooooah Jeremy Corrrrrbyn", the student vote being mobilised for Labour - with all that - Labour still couldn't win.

Now factor in the Lib Dems splitting the Labour vote, Corbyn's shine disappearing and the Boris bounce (whatever you think of him, he appeals to voters like May never could).
Last time May could get a coalition with the DUP. This time around absolutely no party is going to jump in to bed with Boris.
I think Boris will win more votes than TM would/did.

She was car crash, fields of wheat FFS. Atleast you could go have a beer with BJ and be mildly entertained for half an hour.

Didn't TM win a record amount of votes?

Thanks for that, I need something positive thoughts against the thought of Corbyn actually getting in. smile

I love how the muppets on Twitter are posting photos of her wearing the same shoes now as if that's evidence the original photo was photoshopped.

Right, because if someone had pointed out you were not only wearing odd shoes but two left ones at that, it's not like you wouldn't change them quick sharp.

Why take people on when the economy is about to tank? Remember that Boris' deal is worse than May's deal, it's that bad. Plus we have at least another year, more likely 5 years of brexit uncertainty if the Tories get him.

Madness.
I guess because most people will just get on with their lives from tomorrow.

Whereas you'll have at least another year, more likely 5 years of brexit uncertainty AND the fallout from McDonnell's mad Marxist spending spree to deal with if Labour get in.

I'd be genuinely surprised if she did.

I'm pretty sure they won't need to. Might be a small majority but a majority nevertheless.

Haha nice, except I think you find that a large proportion of Conservative voters are retired.

Out of all my friends the ones doing well for themselves, running successful businesses, the lawyers, the doctors, the highly educated, the most read and informed etc. are all, without exception voting for Pro-EU parties.

Those people I know that are not doing so well, (the less open minded you could argue), the ones who haven't traveled extensively (and by travel I don't mean a cheap week getting pissed in the Costa del Sol), and the pensioners, who are scared about a lot of stuff, are the ones tending to vote for parties with a Brexity message.

Similarly those idiots who complain about foreigners taking their jobs are tending to vote for Brexity parties this time around. In the past they'd have probably voted Labour, but such is the PR machine success of the Tory party that they have now convinced Turkeys to vote for Christmas. If you're worried about a foreigner taking your job then it's not the EU's fault - it's probably just that you're st at your job.
It's always nice to read a well thought through, even handed and objective post that doesn't make nasty generalisations. Shame that's not one of them.
And Frank 7s post that he replied to didn't make any generalisations at all did it, no comment on that?

I hope you are too but I'm beginning to have my doubts - although I'm not entirely sure why, tbh. We could be very fked come tomorrow.

Once, frankly it was confusing at first because unexpected.
Two people standing outside in the cold at 7am and as I walked out they both looked at me, one mumbled something and I responded "eh?"

Dunno if that means they recorded Tory or Social-Scum party, or possibly both.

I was going to tactical vote but now think I'll just vote for who I would want regardless of the fact they've git no chance.

That decision in part has come about from the spoiled ballot talk on here and ultimately how petty and futile that seems.
I did consider it as I walked into the polling station half an hour ago.

Voted for our local independent candidate in the end.

He doesn't stand a hope in hell but we need more people prepared to at least try.

A small majority could be whittled away in no time. In 1992 John Major had a majority of 21, and that was wiped out through various by-elections before the 1997 election.

I also wouldn’t be so sure about a deal with another party not being possible. There won’t be a coalition. However Boris could do a deal with the LDs to pass a queens speech which promises a Brexit referendum in which Boris will campaign for leave. The logic would be if Labour did a deal then there would be a referendum anyway and hence it’s a choice between a referendum plus a Marxist government or a referendum. Remember also depending on how the numbers stack up the LDs may only need to abstain from the vote for a queens speech to be passed, ie they may not need to positively support it. The DUP will not want SF sitting further up the table from them as Corbyn’s mates if he were to find a way to get in and whilst the Irish Sea thingy looks like an issue they’d scratch their heads hard to find a way through it.
