With momentum, Corbyn and the like seemingly failing to attract voters for labour, the fallout from this could be that there will be a credible opposition, albeit with reduced numbers if the exit poll figures materialise.

Surely this must mean a massive spring clean in the Labour Party?

It's good PR and gets them coverage on the big night. 'Bill' who Nana was referring to in Blyth, used to work at Sunderland (got the record), was pinched by Newcastle in 2017 (who then beat Sunderland and there is a lot at stake here..!) and is in Blyth in 2019 but sadly lost his race.
