It seems faarange isn't happy that they didn't register TheBrexitParty.com and wants LBD's to give it to him.

All I can say is well done Led By Donkeys

Not really sure why Farage wants the domain name 'The BrexitParty.com'.

If Johnson/Tories win the GE next month leaving the EU in Jan is a given and the Brexit Party as a name for a political party will be an irrelevance as well Farage knows.

Farage acknowledged as much on the QT special the other evening when he said the party will be rebranded after the GE & (if the Tories win and do as promised at the end of Jan 2020) the BP will be no more.

It's almost like faarange knows Brexit is pretty undeliverable and wants to keep his money making scheme going, after all someone has to pay for all pints and fags he is photographed with.

I'm curious if those on the thread who donated and were very vocal about it are entirely happy seeing their money used to pay for lawyers letters and threatening people with EU law.

You couldn't make that one up.
Of course they are! It's a lifestyle choice to be a rabid leaver - evidence plays no part once you commit

Quite.

He plays the poor hard done by "they've dragged me out of retirement for the cause" card well but I'd be amazed if we see the back of him any time soon.

Follow the money.

You'd imagine that the BBC would have got this sorted out by now.

It'll be interesting to see how these people get through whatever screening is done.

That said I'm not sure a Labour activist can be held responsible for the reply “we’re a tech startup.” when asked “How can you say that you’re standing up for democracy when you yourself are an unelected leader in probably the most undemocratic party in the UK, who is refusing to stand in a constituency?”.

'Are you a party political activist?'

'No.'

Like that I imagine. The BBC are not the Stasi, no matter what some people on here think.

Put it that way and yes, absolutely, it does make you wonder what can be done.

It's unfortunate as it gives people the opportunity to try and deflect it into an issue with the questioner rather than simply focus on the question and the answer.

Because being a Labour activist means it isn't a legitimate question to expect a politician to answer? confused

Absolutely. And many of those same people will have no issue with CCHQ changing their name to a fact checking service. Tribalism will be the death of us.

Racists? In the Brexit Party?

Who could have predicted that?

Shocking!

"get em out" - it doesn't seem as rare as you'd hope.

As for "tech start up". What a pillock. Grooming idiots for their cash.

She did rip faaragne a new one didn't she!
Did she? All I saw was a woman given the platform to ask Farage a tough question and once the spotlight was on her, she got confused as to whether she wanted to ask a question or have a rant and as a result didn't do either very well.

As soon as she started her rant she outed herself as an activist (I immediately thought Momentum given how both her and her mate were fixated on money - "You earned five million!", "You're a rich banker!") and neither of them did themselves any favours.

Put it this way, if someone started to ask me a question, which turned into a rant and every time I tried to answer they just continued their rant (not once, but several times), I wouldn't consider them as having "torn me a new one", I'd just consider them a weirdo who's incapable of reasoned debate.

Yeah, I did find that a bit of a strange reply, given it's politics they were discussing, but I I do in a roundabout fashion grasp what he was trying to say - which was that because they had to get off the ground and running very quickly, he had to do it in a very autocratic fashion and effectively crowdfund it.

This method isn't the traditional way you'd form a political party and would be a method more associated with growing a tech startup.

Problem is, when you've got some rent-a-gob wailing over the top of you at every time you open your mouth, it's not exactly easy to elucidate.
