I made it perfectly clear yesterday that I'm happy for action to be taken against anyone who breaks the quarantine rules.

We disagree on the EU and Brexit and on Farage's politics.

Your wife is a nurse and has been working during the pandemic and you're in a vulnerable group as I recall from another thread.

There are people on this thread who give the impression that they're perfectly happy for Farage to have apparently broken the quarantine rules because it annoys people like me.

Maybe they're on a wind-up but personally I'd be asking them why they seem to be putting politics before the safety of the likes of you and your wife.

I'd hope we probably agree on that if you aren't too stubborn to say so.
I did type a long response but deleted it..............thanks for your concern about my and my wife's welfare however:

If he wasn't "Mr Brexit" nobody would take a blind bit of notice.

Farage is a master wind up merchant. he knows exactly what hes doing and he plays those remainers like a banjo. It's hilarious to watch.
I kind of agree with you but it's not the "remainers" he is playing to, it's the EDL, Brexitty gammon types that he is playing. The very same types that will be funding his next campaign with their £25 payments to faarange's Ltd company.
Yeah there’s still a possible future for farage in the economically damaged post covid U.K.

The less well off that felt disenfranchised aren’t going to feel better after the economy continues to tank post furlough schemes ending.

Like any recession, the effects will be worse in the brexit supporting areas. Obviously now the EU and foreigners can’t be blamed so he’ll have to find a new bogeyman. I expect it will be to aim at the Tory handling of the pandemic and other general wokness and liberals, a sort of ranting at the modern world party fuelled by economic damage.
Spot on.

Nigel Farage was the right man for the job needing done.

As long as Boris doesn’t buckle in the coming months, there is no need for Farage to make a comeback.

Meanwhile, while the rest of the country has moved on - we can all have a good laugh at the Remoaners that are still bitter about the man.

It is delicious to witness.
LOL

Less times than he has thwarted the attempts to stop brexit. smile

He wasn’t even part of the leave campaign. Cummings and Boris won the EU referendum. Farage was just a useful idiot for rabble rousing.

Respected politicians don’t want anything to do with him. He even went cap in hand to the conservatives for an election pact and they told him to bugger off. They totally marginalised him and took all his voters.

Possibly.

I don't control what the media report but I don't know of any other politicians who have been reported as breaching the rules in the same way.

Show me a story reporting that Gina Miller or whoever you'd consider "arch remainer" has done the same thing and I guarantee you I won't be there finding ways to excuse it because she supported remain.

Politics is one thing but as I said we're in a pandemic and you'd hope people would put it to one side and be objective when they see these things reported.

Coronavirus won't ask you your opinion on the bloody EU.

That’ll be the fault of the liberal elites (people with good jobs) and the MSM hehe

And it won’t recognise Macrons diplomatic passport either, that’s me being objective.

We can only dream.
Good to see some people are at long last grasping the reality, we are no longer a EU Member. We can thank Nigel for that, I have done so, or loathe him for bringing democracy to the past issue.

How has it improved your life? You STILL seem to be a reactionary old frother ranting about the EU and you’ve got your wish?

Maybe the EU wasn’t the source of your dissatisfaction after all?

Exactly.

The funny thing is whenever you look on this thread there are two schools of thought.

That people who support Farage and who in many cases fund his antics directly from their own pockets will accuse anyone reporting those antics of only doing so "because Brexit".

That those same people seem completely unaware that they appear to be making excuses for Farage "because Brexit".

It's saying something when you'll do mental gymnastics to let someone off the hook bang in the middle of a pandemic because of how you feel about the EU or simply because you think doing so will annoy people like me.

£25 buys quite a hold it seems.
It’s disappointing isn’t it?

I would have thought that more would have wanted to establish the facts, and to ensure that the rule of law is scrupulously upheld. It’s not a teams issue, it’s a public health issue.
‘Black lives matter’ did you see or indeed join their protests in London a couple of weeks back. In the middle of a public health issue.

You and you fellow Remain voting friends are the only ones I can see frothing. The only time this thread gets updated is when someone who voted to Remain resurrects it.

Maybe?

You appear to have forgotten that the bold is a remainer accusation, not a leaver justification smile

Still, you're welcome. At least we won't have to bail out the rest the EU, just ourselves biggrin

So we’re talking about farage? I’m still trying hard to help make the country a success unlike you lot of old crybabies still blaming everyone else for your problems.

It’s not the EU, foreigners, metropolitan elites, the bbc etc fault you’re so miserable.
