Yup, a commodity trader in the 1980’s, my little quip earlier to which R.R. responded, was a little ‘tongue in cheek’. When it comes to assimilate what some posters call ‘Farage grifter’ strangely banking was the first thought that came to mind

I'll try not to take it too personally, given where I work.

I completely understand as my daughter and son-in-law are both working. in the City in the banking

I note that he doesn't mention that border control isn't a state matter (Victoria) in Australia -- it's a federal matter. But of course, he wants to get his base agitated.
