Farage "duped" into taking money off people, giving free publicity to how people can send him more money, ideally by thinking up another ruse to give him more money and publicity.

He must be gutted. hehe

The guy is a marvel in his ability to take money from detractors and supporters alike.
Maybe he can’t leave behind the old habits drawn from banking.
What's he ever had to do with banking other than depositing the brown-noser's cash in his account?
He was a metals trader. Some people consider any job in the City of London to be "banking", even if it's not really.
He's always seemed like a banker to me.

Yup, a commodity trader in the 1980’s, my little quip earlier to which R.R. responded, was a little ‘tongue in cheek’. When it comes to assimilate what some posters call ‘Farage grifter’ strangely banking was the first thought that came to mind wink
I'll try not to take it too personally, given where I work.
I completely understand as my daughter and son-in-law are both working. in the City in the banking
industry.

Well he's being detained at an immigration control facility but that part's tenuous admittedly smile

It's more the irony of Mr Border Control having the brass neck to moan when a country chooses to control their borders.

It has nothing to do with immigration, yet another made up story from our resident frother, much the same as he invented that maajid nawaz is now joining GB news! rolleyes

Which I'm sure is a surprise to him. hehe

Saying "Wouldn't be surprised if Maajid Nawaz doesn't show up on GB News." after LBC didn't renew his contract isn't saying that at all.

So you posted in the wrong thread then?

No I speculated that something could happen.

It isn't my fault you didn't read it correctly.

I comprehended exactly what you meant.

So why post that link in the GB news thread, just more made up nonsense that spews from you on a daily basis it would appear to me.

I note that he doesn't mention that border control isn't a state matter (Victoria) in Australia -- it's a federal matter. But of course, he wants to get his base agitated.

I thought he thought Australia was great and worth doing a comprehensive trade deal with.

I’m more amused that Djokovic’s family are talking with Nigel Farage. That’s a mash up which doesn’t really go together!

I just think it's funny how a bloke who's made a career insisting countries should be able to choose how to police their borders is losing his st when a country chooses how to police its borders.

I wonder whether Nigel would be so upset if it was Arthur Ash?
