Remainers still sore because they have been beaten by (insert remainers name calling). Well done Nigel you have (almost) beaten the establishment, whatever that is. 35 years of dogged determination as paid off, I’m sure Boris has a suitable Lordship ready and waiting for you, remainers heads will explode then laugh
I’m off to wetherspoons now for a pint of £1.25 ale and curry lunch, now where’s my shellsuit hehe

There are a fair few poster lovers on here - ready to defend the indefensible.

You have to wonder if many of his 11% support base are in the same boat.
You dont have to love the bloke to be able to understand and comment on what brought him back.
Oh, I understand alright

Because that would make any difference to what you and others who deny he has been successful think...
He’s the most successful racist in the country, though he does have some upcoming competition.

Not the sort of success to be proud of though really.
His residual support today will be the hard core BNP types, always around 5% of the electorate.

By that I believe that his work is complete, Brexit, his political ambition of 35 years is (almost) complete. Thanks Nigel, job done. smile
What do you make of your hero’s apparent lying about being offered a peerage ?
Wetherspoon curry and ale filled a gap very nicely. wink
My hero? you have an over active imagination. As for the peerage stuff, good luck to him, it will make no difference at all in my life, much the same for all the other recipients of gongs. Having said that many people seem to be triggered by such gong-a-thons.

Looks like ‘Spoons served you one too many Crankie.

The question wasn’t about whether he warrants one or not but instead that he has effectively been accused of lying about one being dangled before him.

It won’t wash with his supporters BV, it’s Trumpian like myopia that Farage relies on though things may begin to unravel for him. One of my old school pals is a successful currency trader, he’s adamant that a number of people made large sums of money on referendum night, each time Farage announced (on no fewer than three separate occasions) that it was close but leave had lost. I can’t think of any precedent for such behaviour from the winning side.

Police looking into the claims now. Don't know the procedure for this. Do they interview, ask for proof etc?

PM says claims are nonsense.

Election time expect lots of lies, smearing, innuendo, and just plain old fashioned personal abuse.
If our Nigel gets his gong or he doesn’t, who cares? not me.
