I prefer to think they are advising you of your misconceptions.

If we are not an independent nation, we would not be able to leave the EU.

Think about it before replying...

But as with every leaver you will be unable to provide a single fact-based reason for leaving the EU. Ideology can be described as a state of false consciousness. Brexit is one Hell of an ideology.

As for powestroke’s bizarre notion that Farage is anything other than a blatant racist, it is too laughable to warrant rebuttal.
Racist how so ??? are we not to ever question free movement ?? and the EU why would any country want to be independent ??
why did all the commonwealth countries seek and achieve independence ???
Most commonwealth countries also stay in the commonwealth, Aussie and NZ have had a vote to remove the queen and change the flag recently. Don't underestimate the level of hatred for Britain, they have just as many people in commonwealth countries blaming their own situation on which plane Harry and Megan take.
But there is a deeper understanding of the consequences of pulling the plug on things. When Britain joined the EU it left all of these countries in the st. This made them look to each other and the neighbouring countries in a more friendly way. In Britain you are in a trading agreement not a colony.

Nigel has painted it as though Belgians are running Britain.. So Cornwall/Scotland/NI/Wales and Yorkshire thinks it should solve its problems by following the Brexit Party ideal of telling Westminster to get fked.
Even though I didn't vote to leave what worries me is the process that has happened since 2016. Nigel is able to play on the dithering and politics, where he runs out of steam is that the boogie man of the EU give quick, clear answers. What the last 6 months have shown is that there are fundemental problems with how Britain manages itself and even when it leaves the EU officially this won't change as the EU were never the problem in the first place

powerstroke, the UK is independent already. It always has been. You have fallen for a massive con perpetrated by certain sections of the media and certain politicians. These people have lied to you and persuaded you to believe in stuff that is demonstrably false.
Oh if that's correct so why are you so concerned about us leaving the EU then???

Why do these posters pretend Farage isn't racist. Are they blind?
They are blind to it because they are just as racist.

Were you taught punctuation by Glenda Slagg??!?!

How boring !!! so clever yet so little to add ...
Cleverness is entirely wasted on you powerstroke (crazy name, crazy guy!!?!) and unneeded. You do more to illustrate everything that is is wrong with NF, TBP and Brexit than a 'clever' person ever could.

Byeeee!!!!

Roger Stone been found out in the US, a chum of Farage? Wonder how that will play out, probably swept under the carpet but I would be good if the press were to start asking a few questions.

Probably say "never met him".
Roger Stone who boasted last year that he had a “back channel” to Julian Assange, the Wikileaks founder, and predicted the release by Wikileaks of emails that damaged Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

Roger Stone who tweeted that he had dinner with Farage – confirming the pair’s relationship – and had contact with Guccifer 2.0, who claimed responsibility for the hacking of Democratic party emails.

Roger Stone being aware that US Department of Justice had indicted 12 Russian Intelligence Officers and had revealed that Guccifer 2.0 was a persona used by GRU (Russian Military Intelligence agency).

Is Nigel really Roger's "back channel"?

True patriot.
Assange, another on our Nige's visiting list. Wonder if he sends him xmas cards? Strange timings to visit him in Ecuador and a thread cross over reason.

I suspect the Russians have more than one string on their banjo.
If we are talking about faarange's rather questionable visiting list, then anyone happily visiting and photographed with Faser Anning needs to be called out as particually mind-bendingly thick for associating with such a vile individual. Utterly unforgivable.

Powerstroke, on the assumption that you are genuinely unaware that Farage is a racist, please look up his quotable quotes about Romanians, and consider the famous poster showing all the brown people lining up to get in and steal all our stuff, rape all our daughters etc. Some say that Farage might not himself be racist (I disagree, based on evidence dating back to his schooldays), but also say that he manipulates the ignorance and fear of racists. Farage certainly does that, and that is as discreditable to him as being personally racist.

Fear is a product of ignorance. Ignorance can be cured by information. Racism is learned behaviour and can be unlearned. Moving away from racism to general fear of or distrust of or hatred of the EU, this is also learned behaviour, based on a deficit of reliable information, and adherence to deliberately false misinformation. All curable by reading with a critical eye.

Strange then that when presented with reliable information , you dismiss it and respond with deliberately false misinformation, if you respond at all.
But we'll gloss over that shall we. biggrin

Depends upon who has written the material to which you may aspire, we all as individuals have built in prejudices formed upon our past life experience, that much I can agree.. Not easy to unpick. We could easily apply the ‘learned behaviour’ to the thinking that the EU is the saviour, as many people seem to adopt. It is of course simply a political project one of many over the centuries which has grown and u.timately failed. People are tribal and until that instinct is extinguished attempts to mould belief into one thought pattern will never be successful, thankfully.

Care in the community, I gather. I blame the cuts.

Back in Farage land, he seems uncharacteristically quiet at the moment. I suppose he can take a rest, as Johnson will probably win, the WA will turn into a 2021 no deal, and on Nige goes.

You do like dishing out insults, rather that posting facts to support your position.
