Can you not answer the above, agree, disregard ? , but no you add in some accusation that is totally off topic.

Daily Mail apparently says that Johnson apparently says that murder and rape victims will be able to attend parole hearings. I can't wait to see the first hearing attended by a murder victim. Mystic Meg Comeback Tour 2020.

BTW, the party of law and order axed the police, cancelled prison building contracts, sliced the criminal justice system to the bone (closed courts, underfunded everything), and told the law to get stuffed until the Supreme Court said get stuffed back.

If Labour didn't bring the country to the edge of bankruptcy yet again then these things would not have happened. Moomins or martians could have done a better job than Labour.

You have to speculate to accumulate, buying voters is a bad plan. The same as living beyond your means.

Putting things on tick is also a bad idea for a government but they did, think PFI.

But they all are bad in different ways but what is the answer?

Only the person who is murdered is a victim. Not their family, children or loved ones? how very lawyer of you...

The social media strategy, with all the attendant outrage, seems deliberate (to me, obvs). I’m a Tory voter usually and it sits ill with me but I’m interested in the theory behind it- presumably there’s evidence from Trump that deliberately causing online ststorms is beneficial- is that correct?

Why?

It's completely transparent. No one was taken in by it, it is just, as you said, a stunt.

(Not the official government account btw).
What do you think the aim of the “stunt” was?

Global recession did that - not Labour.
PFI, selling the gold, development of structural deficit, raiding of pension funds, fiscal easing - all done pre GFA, and all removed our ability to best respond to a downturn.

It was the very opposite of Keynes. They spent like fk during the good times, not only not saving for bad, but reducing the "war chest" available.

"I have ended Boom and Bust"... Gordon Brown.

More fun times: Johnson challenged by a bloke in hi viz and hard hat on Teesside about the Russian report. The hi viz hard hat bloke is obviously a rich remainer and metro elitist. Johnson says no evidence of interference (in which case why not release?), and saw no need to change the timetable for release. Grieve says that Johnson changed the timetable. Which of Johnson and Grieve has a rep as a proven liar?

Not lawyer, person who sees the funny side of tabloidery and the use of language that has not been thought through.

Just posted that on the racist party thread.

What's revealing is that the racist bloke thinks Johnson is a kindred spirit - obviously his letterbox comments have had a lasting impression.
