Nick, you seem to have an unhealthy obsession on her exact location. Some might call it borderline stalking

Some might call it educating the ill informed and ignorant.

Then at least report hdgs in the correct format.

If you don't know, they should always be three figures for ships head.

I can only post what is available and will not edit it. Should I make it up?

No need to do that. Just adjust the data to suit your brief.

What a sad individual you are. You may not like it but her journey is being followed by many, male and female of all ages. Fortunately they are not of a perverse mindset like you seem to have.

You have nothing constructive to say so you try to belittle another person.

I could of course be following the Challenge yacht skipper but it’s irrelevant. Some posters here thought it would be good if the catamaran befell a catastrophe and which she did not survive. Yet you choose not to criticise them.

Now if you have nothing to say about her beliefs or the journey she is currently undertaking then I suggest you take your dirty little mind elsewhere.

I have just finished watching the excellently low key Arena documentary on iPlayer (I think it was BBC4) "A British Guide to the End of the World", about the UK's atomic bomb and civil defence measures.

It brought back childhood memories of growing up near RAF Coltishall.

Greta Thunberg, I have to say, when it comes to fears of imminent global extinction, I think you have no idea.

They can't do that because they have no clue what the numbers mean.

Does 'Extinction Rebellion' not sound the movement of a nutter or am I missing something?

That's better. 21 kts wind with 10kts on the log is what I would expect from a cat, possibly better, but she is probably fully loaded with stores/water and they have precious cargo aboard. Maybe they shook out a reef or two once the sea state settled down?

You may find this interesting.

"We really need this kind of thing to force us to make decisions"

Greta Thunberg has been praised for her work in tackling climate change by the boss of one of the world’s biggest airlines.

In an interview with the BBC, President of Emirates, Sir Tim Clark, discussed the possibilities of using an alternative to fossil fuels to power aircraft in the future.

Though he claimed that technology is far from finding a new energy source, the company boss did say the issue has “got to be dealt with” as he’s now “a climate change believer”. He admitted that it had taken him “a long time” to accept the climate crisis.

He added: “I quite like Extinction Rebellion and Greta Thunberg for having brought a real focus to the issue; a focus on the fact that we are not doing enough at the speed we should be.
