She's a decent actress for her age but I just can't understand how people worship the ground she walks on hanging on her every word.

She's just a puppet for her father and her mother is giving her the acting lessons. Personally I prefer to listen to educated professors in the subject of climate change. People that have spent decades researching rather than this jumped up kid.

No one would be listening to a balding, overweight, middle-aged bloke from Slough. She is the prefect person for the job because she tugs at the heart strings of the easily impressionable. In addition, no one wants to be associated with attacking a defenceless teenage girl. She's a human shield for Big Vegan and their commercial partners. A very successful partnership, I might add. Irrespective of whether or not it was all orchestrated from the beginning (which I don't necessarily believe it was).

She's a kid, doing Q&A in front of the cameras, in a language which is not her first. I think she's entitled to the occasional brainfart.

Listen to her because she's the messiah but ignore mistakes because she's only a kid? Seems like a mixed message.

How can a well adjusted, intelligent, articulate, youngster, apparently able to answer questions as they are put to her, possibly rival the messiah?
Funny you mention rivalry, looks like the ante has been upped:

You are the one calling her the messiah (sic) and suggesting ignoring mistakes. I never said either of those things, stop projecting.

How many Q&As have you done in Swedish? Ever made a mistake doing so?

FWIW, I don't agree with her message, or her style of delivery, but everyone is entitled to the occasional fk up.

The question was raised a few pages ago, that she needs a script to read from, and who writes these scripts?
This was refuted, and example’s were asked for to back up this claim. I gave one then, and then this one yesterday.

And compare it to the equally non-native English speaker having to go off-piste in this interview

There's a credibility gap between Greta and the German girl that only the most blinkered could refuse to see.

You're correct, Greta really is that bad when there's no script.

I'm really glad that now we have debunked all the climate scientists, that we are now giving credibility to teenagers research into this instead. My blinkers are firmly off. wink

If the kids (and their families) of Bristol don't already have coronavirus, they will after today! Thousands expected apparently.

Pictured this morning. Checking the earpiece from Daddy or the scriptwriter isn't going to cut out this time?

She will only `get' me when she announces that she has had the `snip', and starts exhorting that the rest of us should do the same.
Until then she is just a hypocritical, hot air merchant.

On the contrary, I hope they do attend and get a wash. Even Gaia knows they’re filthy stinking hippies biggrin
